@aceman42 i have the same issue, wondering if anyone ever helped you w/ that, and maybe if you could pass that info to me.. its driving me crazy. thanks so much.
@zallirogify At this time, Straight Talk only works within the United States. The phone and service will not function outside the US. It will receive international calls, texts and email, and can call (but not text) internationally with their new International Service. Your best bet is to buy an unlocked phone and purchase a sim card in Italy.
yeah and then tell people if u switch the micro sd cards that had contained the maps program or card gets corrupted youll get a blank ass screen with a red dot for your gps location ya some great stupid progamming issues seriously pain the ASS!
tried everything from deleting files on card formatting using pain in ass pc suite nothing but a damn hassle
I love that you can do all of this fancy stuff like GPS and still pay half as much as those sucker Blackberry and iPhone customers that are like paying twice as much as you are and then wondering why they are broke.
I love that Straight Talk is offering smart phones. Now there is no reason not to switch over to this fantastic prepaid plan! @Thefit4ever - so right, what an awesome opportunity to have your GPS included with your cell phone, now I won't get lost anymore like i usually do...lol.
Nice to see that Straight Talk is keeping up with the competition. This is a nice looking phone with all the features you want in a smart phone, but without the contract. Looks easy to use and this video was very helpful. With the GPS feature no need to purchase a stand alone GPS which is another savings. It needs to Unlimited plan to operate, but for $45 every 30 days, way less than a contract phone. Definitely on the boss's list.
Thank you Straight Talk for putting up this video because it is finally one I can forward to my brother in relation to this phone I just got him for Christmas. I haven't found too many videos that were instructional rather than just straight up reviews and its great since he is new to the network. I have the Samsung R451C and I don't have those options. Any chance of more instruction videos for other phones?
I really need this :) I've used the Unlimited plan for a while now but always been jealous of friends with Blackberry's and iPhone's using the GPS function on their phone. Plus I'm the worst with finding places and getting lost. Guess they'll be the jealous ones from now on, being locked into contracts and paying crazy monthly bills.
This is really unbelievable, a true smartphone, with all the email/GPS etc, and with a prepaid Straight Talk plan. The 'free navigation for life' is amazing, I ride my bike around a lot and am always looking for short-cuts and different routes around the city, I'll definitely be getting myself one for Christmas this year, can't wait!
I am quite conservative when it comes to spending money, I believe your money should work for you but the more I hear about this awesome Straight Talk Nokia E71 phone, the more I want one. Considering I've saved $300 over the last 6 months using Straight Talks $30 plan as opposed to my last contract I've got enough money saved up to buy the phone. I love the super fast web browsing so that I can do bank transfers and check my bank balances and statements and get news updates.
@rights4animals2 dude i like the way you think... i am the same way... and believe me this will be the best 200 dollars you will spend. given they keep it the way it is right now. i use my laptop to talk to my girlfriend using skype. well i keep my laptop off now because i can stay logged into my skype for free. the gps is also free, if you pay lets say only 15 dollars on gps and 10 dollars extra for unlimited internet thats gonna be 200 dollars in less then a year!! so go for this phone
This phone is awesome. I upgraded from just a basic flip phone and I realize all the features I have been without! I didn't mind my old phone but GPS, easy websurfing, a full QWERTY keyboard, and other smartphone technologies make life way easier. Straight Talk keeps getting better.
seriously guys?
i am a world traveller and I can use the gps function only in the state? without internet?
I dont wanna use internet connection cos of the costs... :(

Still shocked that they got this phone. This IS a high-end, business-oriented smartphone. WOW. I might have to consider this one.
