  • This song...;w; I love it

    Love from Ireland~

  • fools it's not Eurovision it's Sanremo Festival !

  • The trumpet player is great! What is his name?

Il trombettista è grande! Come si chiame?

  • @Baldurs89 Fabrizio Bosso. You're right, he's one of the best trumpet player in Italy and not only. He worked also with another our great jazz pianist-singer/songwriter: Sergio Cammariere. If you never listen to you've got to check this out (copy and paste in the you tube url): watch?v=luFI8K2g-DY and here another beautiful song from him and with Fabrizio Bosso watch?v=fp5qryCvNgs ;)

  • @MrTeddy1984 Thank you for your reply! Italians are very lucky to have those talented musicians playing for them :)

  • The Swag.

  • sorry its just when he says puki it really doesnt do him any favours.

  • @TheRealBasemNassif Haha that's so funny! But I totally agree with you, I don't understand this song at all..

  • great song i love it

  • This "song" and this goatface didn't even deserve to be last.

  • @Lasha368 Agree!

  • He was absolutely amazing. Months later i still was fascinated about this great comeback. Best wishes to all italian people from Germany ^^

  • to azerbaijan na parei t 3 tu filu m kai na fugei! ai de.auto htan kommati

  • In 2012, voglio guadagnare l'eurovisione!

    Raphaël era il migliore in2011.

  • This song is freakin' awesome! Why is there so much hate in the comments? >:(

  • Italy is finally back! :D

  • holy crap! one of the best eurovision songs i've heard.

  • God!!! This swing drives me crazy :D Grazie Raphael BRAVO!!!

  • total like

  • I would have loved to see them win this year. What a strong return!

  • foza litalia

  • @Lasha368 maybe. maybe not. maybe fuck yourself.

  • @mecagoenlaleche98 bitch!

  • Wonderful... Gracias Italia♥

  • Azerbaijan is'nt in Europe :$

  • @mrsemocrow Azerbaijan is in the European Broadcasting Union - along with Russia, Turkey, and Israel - which is all that is required to be a part of Eurovision

  • @mrsemocrow neither is israel and not really turkey

  • @GABproductionsz Not Turkey at all. I don't understand why they insist so much that they are Europeans. Look at the Geographical location, the culture, and especially the religion!

  • @khanoom1000 tho turkey is more europe than israel and azerbaijan only because i section of turkey is europe but year your right its mainly asia

  • @mrsemocrow Azerbaijan isn't in Europe, but Azerbaijan has petrol, lots of it.

  • 3:25 epic face :) lol

    but i like the song

  • I liked Norway.

  • You say that this song is the best ? I think that it's the worst ...

  • The only mistake they did in the grand Eurovision Final was to not stick to the original text and language. Everything else was flawless. I'm a young musician from Sweden and this song was in my opinion the one with highest musical quality. Great singing, great solos, great arrangement, great composing, nice jazz feel. Loved everything about it!

  • Shit Azerbaijan bought the votes with oil money.. they stole the votes !

The winner are Austria, Italy , France, Sweden and Denmark and many others !

  • @nnmrg If the jury decided alone, Italy would have won... Neither Azerbaijan nor France nor Sweden nor Denmark would. Decidedly people get a bit mad about this... It's just a contest. Good songs even if they don't win, they will be popular anyway for years; bad winners not even in the next year will be remembered anymore. I think most people know the songs Volare or Congratulations, and they didn't win. But can you remember the song with which Serbia won 3 years ago? I can't, but it's subjective

  • @nmgscp Actually, I do remember, it's a fantastic song, everybody should remember The prayer and Marija's fantastic voice

  • Holy jumping peanut nugget bucket. I thought this was beautiful in English, but in Italian it just blew me away. I've listened to it four times in a row so far and I keep loving it...

  • @ComoEstas15 Not terrible, but kind of boring (don't get me wrong, but in a Eurovision contest it's a little so). I also don't know why. And no betters or even people thought this was gonna get high :p

  • This only came 2 cause they bribed the jurys to give them point the jury gave italy more then double points then they gave someone else and the televoting got very low votes

  • this song is not a Playback but a live :))

  • I will NEVER understand WHY this song did so well at eurovision. UNBELIEVABLE !

  • @trevors1961 politicalvoting-.-

  • perfecto greetings from Azerbaijan :)

  • Sweden shoud have been first or at least second!!! Not Italy!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SmileFe1996

Sweden's song would have been great for a television advert jingle or something

  • @qiovanni I'm sorry, my sister posted this on my account...

  • @SmileFe1996

    :)

  • @SmileFe1996 And Azerbaijan?

  • @teencreddywatson Well it was my sister who writed this.

I think Azarbaijan had a good song.

    It's okay they won.

  • Una canzone fantastica!

  • Fantastica canzone!

  • WTF THIS SUCKED FROM MALTA BITCHES!

  • @stpuredood Hey!I'm from Malta and I love this song so shut up!P.S I'm just a kid and I have better gramar than you so ha!

  • @stpuredood Hey!I'm from Malta and I love this song so shut up!P.S I'm just a kid and I have better grammar than you so ha!

  • @SuperPyrusMaster mur hudu foxx kemm andek

  • Fantastic! This song finishing second is really a sign of the eurovision moving in the right direction... Towards presenting REAL music :)

  • The real winner of eurovision was this..

  • Love it when his voice gets all hoarse and then fades into the thrombone! I play those parts over and over again!

  • 1:34 - 1:35 :D

  • guys I'm from Greece, in my opinion this song should be in the 1st place. The 7th place that Greece wonwas very good for Yiorkas' song

  • and this was second it sucks more than loukas greetings from greece

  • fantastic, saw him yeseterdauìy live in concert, check out fabrizio bosso on trumpet: great jazz musician

  • Greetings from Macedonia,Italy has great songs like this one..

  • I got a chance to watch the Eurovision winning song (Azerbaijan's song) on TV again last week. This only confirm that the Italian entry was the best & Italy should have won. I'm not happy but as I can do nothing about this, I just did what I can - paid £8.99 & downloaded the 'Reality & Fantasy' album from iTune. Now, I'm happy!

  • that are mostly greeks that leave negative comments... because theyre angry that their boring song didnt win

  • I like 1:16 when he sees a spider :)

  • @engkv1st Lmfao I can totally imagine that.

  • 5******

  • Azerbaijan was terrible this year. Her voice was off in the beginnning all they did was practically stand there during the music vid, and it looked like her hair was way in her way. Plus her voice was too rocky for me. It was worse than Lena's and (I still liked Lena's song but she should've been third place)

As far as I'm concered...This is great! It's so classic....and so smooth And a prance rythym to it...SO BEAUTIFUL!

  • Me I looooooooveeeeeeeedddddddd this one.......great performance....... kisses from greece/serbia...........

  • his voice reaaches into your soul and kisses it ... hmm thank you italy for this song. <3

  • i can´t believe Italy didn´t win! It was a perfect performance! Was it his haircut or non existent haircut fault? It is not that that could matter much but otherwise i can´t explain it!

  • @jackyyes hate to break it to you, but eurovision isn't actually a talent competition, but a political event that confirms alliances between countries in europe (although you can't possibly call azerbaijan europe - it borders on iran, for fuck's sake!). good music isn't generally seen on eurovision, so nobody was expecting italy to get such a good score as it did...

  • excellent

  • Ooh! I totally wasn't expecting that! How beautiful! I really wish we could watch this in America, I feel so behind the curve! Much love for the classical instruments turned modern-awesome!

  • I liked it. Not so much as Spain but it is epic...

...guess how do I rate Spain?

  • AND MY WINNER IN THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST THIS YEAR ... IS ...ITALY ... DEFINITELY !!!

What a nicely Jazzzzzzzzzzy song ...

    that " Follia d'amore " ... " Madness of Love " ... " Folie d'amour " ... " Locura de amor "

    by Raphael Gualazzi !!!

Beautiful performance ... Fantastic piano and trumpet ... entrancing tune and voice !!!

MI PIACE MOLTISSIMO ASCOLTARE QUELLA BELLA CANZONE ...

    May 11.

  • bravo Raphael... ottimo secondo posto all'eurofestival..e bravissima Caterina Caselli sua produttrice che non sbaglia un colpo.....

  • they came 2nd, didnt they?

  • beautiful song!!!

  • This song makes me wana bang someone...

    Lets go.. :p

  • 190 people never saw 007

  • Hi from Lithuania :]

This song was the best for me personally this year ;]

I wish Italy will participate in Eurovision more often in the future :]

  • @drTadux i think we all hope the same. u r right. for me, italy and greece were the best :D

  • @drTadux thank you for giving them 12 points...

  • The song is the official date song...

  • I'm guessing by the name that OliviaMalmo is from Sweden and jealous that the prettyboy Eric Saade got beaten into second place by a genuinely great song.

    From the UK, FORZA ITALIA!

  • ho voluto italia vincere

    sono stati stupefacente!

  • Italy's song is the one that I voted for to win. It was original, sofisticated and very well performed. Sweden was my second choice, so after 53 years of watching the ESC, I'm finally getting the hang of picking songs that end up in the top 3.

  • @MerseyBilly Hello Mersey Billy. I have been watching ESC almost as long as you, since the late sixties. For me it happened last year what you describe. My two favourites Germany and Turkey came first and second. I was so happy that they did so well. For once I understood how Europe voted. I also thought that Lena`s victory was so good for ESC. Her song was sophisticated, well composed and above all, modern. That´s why I don´t understand this years top two result.

  • One thing I will never understand is why some people BOTHER to leave negative comments here..!? If you don't like a song, than why this obessive need to inform the rest of us about it??? I mean, come on: I hated Moldova's song in this year's ESC, and most certainly won't go to listen to it one more time here on YT just to leave some nasty comment! I guess it says a great deal about a person, that has such urge to criticize in "public"..! Please go to the songs you DID like during the contest...!

  • @senja71 How dare you be so rational sir :P

  • Comment removed

  • @senja71 Well, Senja. Raphael took part in the biggest music contest in the world and came second. It would be strange if his song wasn´t discussed here, not only by people who liked it. Discussing the performances and the result afterwards is a part of the fun with ESC. I wrote here only because I´m a ESC-fan who are trying to understand this years surprising results. It has been interesting for me to read why people has voted for this entry which I didn´t get at all.

  • @senja71 i just love IT....NEED MORE VINO!!!!

  • @loli698

    Bottom's up, mate!:-)))

  • @senja71 fuck you this shit sucks

  • @senja71 you hated the " E P I C S A X G U Y" (⊙▂⊙)

    what is wrong with you!!!GODDAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • БРАВО РАФАЭЛЬ!!!!!!!!!

  • sweden shouldve won!

  • Sweden are the true winners in my mind

  • I can´t understand how anyone really can like this song. It´s so badly written and so oldfashioned. And Raphael is such a mediocre singer. How could this come second in ESC? It´s a mystery for me. Is it because this is supposed to be quality because it´s jazz and people were glad that Italy was back in ESC?

  • @OliviaMalmo omg, a big mistery!!! maybe because there might be also people in our big europe who just enjoy jazz instead of your shitpop ? surprising! ...

  • @TheUnchained82 My shitpop? You don´t anything about what I like. I actually like different kind of genres of music, even classical music. I appreciate diversity in Eurovision as long as the music is good in it´s genre. And that´s my point. This isn´t good in it´s genre and certainly not good enough to come second in ESC. Italy happens to be one of my favourite countries in ESC. I was very happy when I heard that Italy was back this year but when I heard the song I was so disappointed.

  • @OliviaMalmo Dear Olivia, I respect your point of view, but I completely disagree. Probably you don't know Raphael at all. First of all, he's especially a pianist (search fo this here in youtube: /watch?v=gRNq-xlIuhM&feature=related (write youtube.com before the link, of course)...then take a look about what a great great artist we are talking about. Or search for this "Note di Copertina 002 - Raphael Gualazzi", 5-6 years ago when he was much younger. All the rest is nothing, if compared to him

  • @OliviaMalmo It might be because you don't understand music and good performers. Probably you prefer those industrial plastic groups, like the swedish or UK's ones.

  • For me there were only two songs in this ESC: This class act herefrom Italy, and Slovenia. All the rest was simply average mainstream pop,- except from Moldova that was a three-minutes nightmare...!

  • Un ritorno fantastico!!!

  • Alot of people who liked swedens entry about wanting to be popular to fuck a girl, don't seem to be able to like this song. I wonder why that would be...

  • Sono impazzita per questa canzone!

  • Comment removed

  • @Pilkingtube Ohh..anyway this sucks..it did not deserve 2nd place

  • @rotatio69 And what, you think Azerbaijan totally deserved to win? Please.

  • @Pilkingtube No it sucked too, even more than Italy. There were better song that did not even get points, its all about politics..:S

  • @rotatio69 I'd have said it was more about taste. I personally thought Italy was the best, you didn't. That doesn't mean that i'm voting politically, it means I have different taste in music.

  • @rotatio69 name them. name the better songs...

  • @coguar0 There was Ukraine, there was UK, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia everything was better than this, this is a boring song..

  • @rotatio69 you are entitled to your opinion but UK and Sweden seemed to me void copycat boybands, slovenia was a draft copy of cristina aguilera, and spain got barely a passing grade. too cheesy for me

  • @coguar0 I respect your opinion. But i think Sweden and UK had a catchy song it was cool. And Slovenia that girl can sing she really can and she came 3 in semifinals..if it werent for political purposes she could win or atleast be in top 5. Anyway Azerbaijan sucked :) And im not watching eurovision ever again.

  • Azerbaijan was horrible as hell. It's ironic how the best and the worst song were so close.

  • So great! :) Italy twelve points!

  • I loved this, wanted it to win <3 :(

  • Horrible song! Cant listen to it

  • @rexmoose So what are you doing here?

  • :|

  • E carino, mi dispiache che non hanno vinto

  • I voted for this!

  • Tenia que haber ganado, muy bueno.

  • Comment removed

  • Very good, indeed, bravi!! Together with teh serbian and belgian songs, these are the real winners of the ESC 2011.

Or perhaps we, the audience, are the real winners because of the excellent music!

Congratulations and best wishes to all three of them.

  • Hope the returning to Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest will mark the beginning of a new stage; a stage fit to provide a quality music. And I know that Italians can make absolutely sure this. Congratulazioni Italia!

  • Excellent! Long time no hear such a good song Eurovision.

  • i has such a James Bond feeling :) but i don't know why XD

  • This song is just horrible to be honest...what's up with his screams? That's horrible, rest is simply boring if you ask me.

  • nagyon jó zene respekt neki!nálam abszolút győztes!!!!!Forza!;)

  • eurovision sucks. how the hell this song can be 2nd?? italy protested eurovision and did not take part until this year and so, to make italians happy, they made italy 2nd.

  • fantastic composition, extra voice, amazing piano solo! Congratulations Italy!!!

  • And finally , in 2011 italy came with this song to change the eurovision contest and make it eurovison MUSIC contest , because that song is music , and thats why italy deserved the win. Because they had a real song, and not because they spent loads of money for tours and promoting campaigns such as... whats that country? A yeah, Ajerbaizan... oh, and something else... justin bieber made 179 accounts and disliked the song :D

  • When Finland won, six months later I still remembered the song; when Norway won, six months later I still remembered the song. Azerbaijan...I couldn't even remember the fucking tune the following day!! But THIS song...it's gonna be stuck in my head for a long time to come because it's damn good!! Italy should've won.

  • I don't watch Eurovision to see cruise ship lounge singers.

  • @BeejieB But it seems you watch YouTube to see them.

  • I think: Had Turkey been in the finals, this would have won, and that would have been awesome. Great singer and song, and WHAT a return for Italy!! Not that Azerbaijan didn't deserve a win; on the contrary, they have been great for Eurovision, they just didn't deserve it with that song. Hope you participate in 2012, Italy!!

  • Think I didn't explain correctly: Since Turkey wasn't in the finale, a lot of Turkey's votes went to Azerbaijan.

  • How the fuck could this sucky song come second? sweden shouldve came 2nd LOL

  • amazing song from Italy!!Welcome Italy!!!lovely counrty!!Many likes from Greece!!

  • la mejor, tendría que haber ganado

  • Thank god that Italy has returned to this music contest!!!
