@pasalili sorry but my wildfire s is brand new and work perfectly. i can't play flash video is normal version or not (depending on rom, it changes). this is reported everywhere, this phone has not enough power. now if you can help me to make it work, it'd be great.

i hate blackberrys and iphones are rediculously priced i think this is the best phone on the market taking price and product quality into consideration, although the 2 mates i know who have had this phone both smashed the screen by dropping it, but it still worked, i just think the screen brakes easily but just get a protective cover ad u should be fine

@bobolishas actually it depends on e angle u drop ur phone. if it lands flat on the floor, the screen is bound to crack. And i agree with what you said. Iphones and blackberry's User Interface are DULL and BORING. HTC PHONES ARE THE REAL THING!!

Help me, my wildfire s i bought it on china and now i am in south africa and it didn't came with any google applications, and i tried downloading market android and it doesn't work either there is an application called htc marketplace and its all chinese with chinese applications and language please help me! and the phone is original it does everything like in the video

@AaronO220 The Wildfire S is far better than the original Wildfire, and they cost about the same as well. Trust me, the Wildfire S has a faster processor, more RAM, newer versions of Android and HTC Sense and of course the main difference, a screen with twice the resolution. Go with the Wildfire S and you won't be disappointed. To answer your question, yes the Wildfire S is far better for multitasking. =)

I have this phone. Its nice. But, the problem is. In india, the software updates are too slow. I have to wait for some time to get sense 3.5 or ICS. The chance of this phone receiving ICS is moderate. Lets hope so. But, sense offers some features of ICS. google borrowed some features from sense.

I have this phone and it is AMAZING ! But the only thing I dislike about it is that I litterally only have 2 apps that I've downloaded myself & I'll get a notification that'll tell me to make more space . Also forgot to mention (I don't know why they don't mention these specs in the video, seeing as some of them are awfully impressive), the thing comes with a 2 GB micro SD card that will do you for a while... it holds a few music albums and a handful of apps and stuff.

But you can upgrade to a higher capacity card, apparently you can go as high as 32 Gigabytes... That's a lot, any way you slice it.

Oh, and what really sealed the deal for me, it has wifi capabilities. So even though I don't have a data plan, when I'm at home on my WiFi network, I can try out all those fancy little apps and toys that need the internet to work. I can't take them with me, but it's really a great way to try-before-you-buy, in case I ever take the plunge and get myself a real data plan.

The small size is a good thing though because, while it does have some thickness to it, I barely feel it in my pocket. My wallet has a more noticeable volume footprint.

I don't use much of that social networking stuff (especially because it all requires a pricey data-plan), and I actually deleted most of those facebook apps. But... all in all, this is a great value.  You get a respectable camera, with flash, 512 MB of RAM, and on top of that a solid phone.

Got it last week for 29.99 (with a 43$ a month unlimited talk, text, voicemail plan).

First thing that became very evident was the screen's small size. 3.2 inches, but they actually managed to fit 320 x 480 in there. So it's like a standard iPhone 3GS screen in resolution, but compressed. I did read a few books on it while I was on the bus, but it's certainly not a dedicated eReader.

I got a Desire HD and am very disappointed - it's not that way functional as the iPhone. It's like 0.23 instead of 2.3. So Android and/or HTC has to be improved to be in the same class as the iPhone.

If you want updates, usually getting the company's flagship/high-end phone will benefit from updates, I just got my Sense 2.1 with Android 2.3.3 a few days ago on my HTC Incredible S.
