I think bionic, it's not bad, but it's not so original, that kind of music is very common nowadays. I expected something different about her however, in some years she will change again. Usually pop singers such as Britney Spears, or Lady Gaga, or Madonna herself (I don't mean to make a comparison between them and Christina Aguilera, it would be really stupid) make albums by using autotune. In "Bionic" Christina Aguilera made the same kind of music (renewing it) SINGING it, not just producing it, as the others do. I don't think they'd be able to sing "Not myself tonight", she can. And, believe me, it's not easy at all.

Not true. Every track on Bionic, as on all her albums, are autotuned. Everybody does it, it's just standard procedure wether you're a good singer or not. I don't know why - In my opinion it's unnecessary and ruins the vocals and listening experience.

I think maybe you mean you don't hear the more "obvious" autotune effects (like in Cher's "Believe), but a finely tuned ear can hear it very well.

@KimberlyFlexyDoll This was in 2006 4 years ago. She has moved on to another style. In case you haven't noticed Christina changes her sound and style for evey album. She did the old school soul thing well. However frankly by the end of it people were starting (including her) to get sick of it. She she has moved on from this. I doubt very much she will ever do this again. She very rarely does the same style twice. Once she's done with something she is done. It was a very nice era though. (:
