wow lots of crazy people in the 4x4 world! im building a 1977 dodge truck custom 150 it has a 318. what do you guys think? will my truck do well? its not dune yet im still saving up for most of the parts but its close. lots of people say dodge sucks but its my most favorite truck! i cant wate till its dune!!

With you dodge truck, if you spend the money than it will be brilliant. Cars in general, (particularly trucks) from that era still had an actual chassis, which is what you want in a 4x4. With your 318, putting that much torch through im assuming a practically stock drivetrain could bring up some problems, make you sure you keep an eye on your transfer case and your diff.
