@Monokster Armin uses and Engineer (Benno, same Engineer as Jochen Miller). He does produce his own tracks though, he just has them tweaked. It's took him 2 years to make his new album.

No talent???!!! Seriously!!!......Armin Van Buuren is the best dj in the world....His mixing cannot be touched by most....Ok he hasnt produce a decent Trance tune since rush hour but hes sets are amazing......His mash ups are better than anyone in the business!!! I love Above & Beyond! But you are wrong when you say Tiësto and AVB have no talent whatsoever. Both have produced/created tracks that are stunning and on top of that they're some of the best dj's/remixers on earth. It may be true that they lack the skill when it comes to musical-insturments, but for example Armins brother Eller played a remarkable role on the song 'Imagine' with his guitar. I do think Tiësto and AVB knows a bit more about music and about _SOUND_ than you do.
They probably know more about sound than me, true. But why do those two always get the credit for any song produced? People think 'Insomnia' is produced by Tiesticle. How effing unfair.
I think the point people are trying to get across here is, although Tiesto, and AVB have talent (they've been doing this for a while now), the fact of the matter is, these people (including myself) believe that A&B are more talented, yet they are over shadowed by Tiesto and AVB. Tiesto imo hasn't released anything superb since ISOS 3/Nyana, and the last time that I saw Tiesto in June of last year, and his set couldn't hold a candle to the first set I saw of him, **Cont**
Hell BT had a way better set overall (feeding off the crowd, getting everyone into the mood to have a great time etc. etc.) Unfortunately I paid 75 bucks for those tickets and felt i got ripped off. 2 weeks later I saw A&B at the showbox in Seattle for 25 bucks, and honestly I would've paid 75 bucks just from that performance. In the end Tony, Paavo, and Jono continue to impress their fans everytime with new releases, a kick ass podcast (btw tiesto's and AVB's can't compare to A&B's)*cont*
but when it comes to the DJ mag top 100 they are falsely represented imo (should've been at least no. 2 or 1, instead of no. 4) In the end while Tiesto and AVB are talented...Above & Beyond just do it all better 10 times over. I think that's the main argument here.
