@sugarkitty2008 I've been using the same thing as you for about 2 years. To be honest, there isn't THAT big of a difference, I mean, you get used to using a mouse, then a tablet. What's more annoying is you need a pretty good computer to use a Cintiq. The one I used was lagging and really let me down. But as long as you can draw, any tablet will work wonders. Stick to it!

@Fazigu Um nah, I have the smallest of all, the Bamboo Fun, and a 19" or 20" monitor with 1680 x 1050 res. Works fine for me. I am looking into a 12WX though. It sounds like your memory is too low for speedy, movements. Maybe too many programs running at once?

You sketch it first, and then when you ink, you clean it up.

inking comes down after you place the basic sketch, most artist unless your some kind of superhuman has to sketch out everything first then place down the darker lines by inking and removing the penciling underneath... making it alot cleaner and neater.

Your not supposed to, this guy has it at an angle so his hand isn't coming into contact with the screen. For drawing on a flat surface you use a special glove that comes with the tablet to avoid smudging it all up

Cintiqs don't come with special gloves...you can lean your hand on it as much as you want. In fact...they're far smoother to draw on once you've built up a nice layer of hand grease.
