  • ppl People please do not watch porn on your new gaming PC's it will destroy it :p so don't do it. kay

  • Why does everyone say 'rad' instead of 'radiator'? I understand why typing it would be easier. But it's kinda like saying 'lol' instead of laughing.. :P

  • Did u buy the EK HFX cooling kit?

  • A work of art my next build is going to be a lot like this great job!

  • Hey, where did you get all your purple led fans from?

  • @iConorHD I know they look purple but they are blue. i ordered them from FrozenCPU online

  • how do you fill up the res. with it inside the case like that?

  • @Syrius187 The res is mounted with quick brackets. I can just pull it out and fill when I need to

  • Comment removed

  • @RoyLFewkes Not at all..I use distilled water just because its the best . You would just need to clean your blocks and stuff more offten.

  • @lvl8hacker hey mate, just a quick question but does the motherboard Maximus IV Extreme Z fit the 800D without hacking the case?

  • @FMMProductions u could fit an elephant in this case w/o hacking it. Believe me I've tried it.

  • are those blue sickleflow fans?

  • i spy a modded corsaird h60 (:

  • @InverseBlue h70* sorry

  • How much for the water cooling system? fans, blocks, radiators, tubing etc? Thanks! :)

  • @Appl3ProdHD The kit cost $280

  • @AviatorF16Falcon You will also need to buy a GPU block, fans, and I upgraded the tubeing so that means all new fittings as well as the smaller RAD in the back.

  • How much for all this build?

  • nice configuration on the loop man. i see a lot of people directing the hot water directly to the gpu and you cooled the water on the 120 rad before it goes to the bigger rad. a bit more cooling is always better. really nice man!

  • i love frozen cpu for all the extra crap i need that newegg doesnt have :)

  • This is the best looking water cooling on YT ;d

  • 1200w for one GTX 590? yes i know its dual gpu, but you're about 400w too high. fans are Coolermaster Sickle Flow 2000rpm. overall it looks good.

  • as you can see...!!! :)

  • hey is the fans or really shinny like that or is it just the camera

  • sickest setup ive seen yet nice job

  • nice

  • dang this setup is hot

  • Hey lvl8, how did you do with mounting that rad to the top. I just have mine in a push config (from the inside of the case) and I had some trouble finding the right screws to use to mount the rad to the top of the case. Some would catch and others wouldn't. Just wondering if maybe you had the same issue. I got a feeling you didn't tho because your screws were latching onto the fans and not your rad.

  • @kskwerl68 I just got screws that would be long enough to pass through the top, fan, and into the RAD with out being too long so not to hit the RAD. My local hardware store had a ton of them. If you ever tok it apart, you might want to flip your fans around and do a pull. You will always get better temps with getting the cool air outside of the case and pulling/pushing it in. Use the fan in the back to exhaust the hot air out.

  • @lvl8hacker You know what I think I actually might do that very soon as I'm pretty unhappy with how it turned out to tell ya the truth. I mean the temps are great but everything is all clusters. I love your builds because they look like a team of engineers planned em. Thanks for the tip, btw I got your reply on the FT-02 vid.

Got another question if you're up to it: Do you find compression fittings to be a massive pain to fully tighten? Idk what size you're using but I was using 1/2 ID 3/4 OD.

  • @kskwerl68 You know the compression fittings are not meant to be tightened all the way down. Just turn them with your hands as snug as you can. I use to put a real fat shoe string around the fitting and use pliers but I found as long as I get them real snug with my hands they work great and you don't run the risk of scratching them.

  • @lvl8hacker geez, I did not know that at all. I always used barbs and worm drive clamps.

  • @lvl8hacker Good site for watercooling parts? considering doing this myself.. although wish my Case was this big but my Seasonic 750x Psu wont have long enough modular cables to fit a full tower.. : (

  • What are the fan control pieces you use?

  • @DeeJayAmK They are NZXT fan controllers

  • Comment removed

  • @lvl8hacker What model is the bottom fan controller ???

  • Can i run a gtx 580 an a OCed 2600k with this kit in safe temps?

  • Will the 140 rad be good for 2 GTX590's?

  • @MrPekosTech I dont think it would. GTX590's put off a bunch of heat and a single 140 RAD is just to small to keep them cool.

  • @lvl8hacker Then what would you recommend a double rad or a triple rad? or even a dual loop one for the CPU and one for the Video cards, by the way i have the new LGA2011 cpu, or a single loop with a quad rad for cpu and triple for video cards?

  • @MrPekosTech If you can pull it off the dual loop would be the best. The larger the rad the better...but you are limited by what case you are going to use. This can be solved by using a external unit as well.

  • @lvl8hacker What good external unit are they out there? and the case, i can always get a obsidian 800D and mount a triple rad at the top and a quad rad at the back fan with some rad mounting brackets

  • Hey man, great setup! What's the GPU temps?

  • nice colour scheme

  • Sick. Rig.

  • That's an outstanding build. I'm really curious on how you managed your cables. I could not see them at all, besides the one going into the GPU. That's just awesome. Is it in part because of the case?

  • @carlunaden Thank you...To answer your question yes....I would have to say that its about 90% the case. it has tones of room behind the mobo tray to hide cables...the other 10% would be the PSU. Nice long wires to route with

  • love the rig, very clean! awesome :-))

  • this is not a rig this is a jet, so the question is when do we get ready for launch?

  • what was the air flow like in the 800d

  • Great work and results. I've watched your video numerous times to get a hands-on view of the case and space available for WC. Can't thank you enough for not recording this with a toaster.

    Hoping for a Response!

Did you NEED to modify the case in order to fit the 45 bits on the rear RAD? Or was it for cleaner aesthetics?

  • @justbunches09 I did have too drill the holes in the back for clearance. Although there are many ways to mount the rad back there..this is what worked for me. In a perfect world the Rad would be thinner and I could have mounted it inside the case. When doing a push/pull with the fans you will run into a clearance issue with the fan hitting the 45** fittings. You can avoid this by getting spacers for the fittings or just using strait fittings instead of 45* ones. Hope that helps.

  • @lvl8hacker Yep that helps. Thanks for the response. You have a great setup going.

Did you ever try running through only the 360 RAD above? If so were there significant temp differences?

  • @justbunches09 No..I never did..I don't think you would get good results. If your going to run a GTX590 it will put off a ton of heat. You might be able to get buy with a lower end card. I never had the chance to find out. Shortly after this build I added another 360RAD and got rid of the GTX590 for 3 GTX580's

  • @lvl8hacker *justbunches09 - merged my accounts* Again, thank you for the response, and again, impressive rig. Where did you put the 2nd 360RAD? I would be excited to see another video, even a short one, or a picture if you felt like sharing.

  • @AMBrownie09 I should have been a little more specific. When I added the 2nd 360 RAD I also replaced the case with another. Dont get me wrong..The 800d is a wonderful case, I just moved on to the next build. Check out the rest of my build videos on my channel.

  • @lvl8hacker Ah I was afraid of that. I've watched some the videos on your other builds and they seem to get more and more intense; looks like you could be amassing a fleet!

I hope you don't mind all my questions, but there are a few details I'd like to pin down before pulling the trigger on the 800d.

Obviously the hot swap bays are removable, but is that entire portion of the bays removable as well? I'd like to clean that out and mount the pump there.

  • @AMBrownie09 You would have to cut it out. I have seen builds with this done and they look real clean.

  • @lvl8hacker Did you mount your pump to the removable HDD cover with adhesive then?

  • @AMBrownie09 Yes...both the side and the bottom

  • @lvl8hacker I know the WC kit you used comes with the 150 reservoir but I have been looking at the same 250 reservoir, do you think you've noticed a difference either way with a smaller tank?

  • @AMBrownie09 FYI..the 250 is larger than the 150 and you might have trouble fitting it where I did. It doest not really make a difference what size RES you use, its mainly just to keep an eye on the levels and a bit of eye candy.

  • @lvl8hacker Yep it's all going into consideration but thanks for the FYI. Did you have to do anything special to mount the RES where you did or is it straight forward with the included brackets?

  • @AMBrownie09 To mount the RES where I did, I had to drill holes for the brackets.

  • Awesome rig! We've almost identical hardware except I'm running a H100. Thanks for posting!

  • Can this loop work with the GTX590 and cool it well?

  • @MrPekosTech Yes it does. That is a GTX590 in this build. I have since swapped the card out for a 3 way SLI with GTX 580's

  • Comment removed

  • blue fans with red scheme motherboard??

  • @winghyro ...well it was a Blue and Red setup I was going for :)

  • Good build mate

  • looks gorgeous mate

  • howd u get those screen things that tell you the temperature and fan info..what are they? :o good vid im getting that motherboard

  • @AL985 Those are NZXT fan controllers. One is the Sentry 2 and the other is the Sentry LX. They come with temp probes and you mount the probe on what ever you want to keep temp on.

  • wow amaizing:)

  • how much does it cost for all of them ? no more than 5000usd?

  • Great great system mate

  • awesome RIG

  • Look out because im gonna steal that PC... 0_0

  • replace that maximus with an asrock extreme 4 gen 3 ..... would look just amazing

  • what did you ricord with + what setting

  • i can hear the cpu's getting frozen...

  • the fan on the radiator on the side of the case is the other way round? its sucking the air from the outside inside the case instead from the case to the outside.... ? im just a begginer on computer build so correct me if im wrong, im trying to buiuld my custom pc too :)

  • @MrPekosTech You must be talking about the RAD mounted on the back. I have it set up as intake. Rule of thumb with water cooling is that for better temps you want to suck in the cool air in the room vs blowing the hot air from the case through the RAD

  • @lvl8hacker So, what do you recommend me to do with a corsair H100 hydro series water cooling system? i was thinking of put the RAD with 4 fans as an intake and put the other fans as a outtake so the cool air on the room comes through the RAD and the hot air of the case comes out through the case fans...is that a good setup?

  • @MrPekosTech That sounds like a real good setup to me. What case are you going to use for your build? The nice part about that H100 is that it has low fins per inch so you do not need real powerful fans. that means low RPM's and low noise

  • @lvl8hacker I'm using the corsair obsidian 650D :) since i am a like ''noob'' in the pc building stuff i want to be sure that my cpu (i7 2600k) is nice and cool with a good cooling setup...thanks for the help

  • @MrPekosTech The 650D is a great case. The H100 will fit just right in the top of that. Good luck with the build!

  • @lvl8hacker I know its a very good case, i only choose it for the water cooling mounts that has at the top and the HDD dock the has at the top too lol...well thanks :)

  • nice setup dual rad. is ur 140mm rad at the back intake or exhaust?

  • u must have alot of money to throw around. looks good

  • did you use purple cathode light ? I saw your blue LED fan and purple light in ur case.

  • @frank7319g Thats a blue Cold Cathode. It does seem to put off a purpleish color on video...but it looks cool

  • @frank7319g Frank...Im sorry...I was thinking this was one of my other videos...In this one there is no light, that is just the LED's on the fans your seeing

  • Whats the rattle i can hear on this video? Is your pump making that noise?

  • nice, im doing almost the same setup but in a CoolerMaster HAF X, things for the loop idea. i wonder if i can put a dual rad in back to cool 2 gtx 580s

  • @tyler56ford Looking at the Cooler Master HAF X I dont see why you couldnt put a 120 RAD in the back. I bet you could even find a slim 120mm RAD and even keep it inside the case. Would love to see how you rig is turning out. Are you putting it up on youtube?

  • @lvl8hacker most likely, i do need to get a job first (stupid fed. labor laws) but i have also been looking into the 800D also, pretty nice case, but the haf x goes with my black/red color scheme

  • looks like you have a lot of extra room on that motherboard

  • @themagician90 LOL...I sure did. Check out some of the newer videos. I filled it up a bit more :)

  • how did you fill up your reservoir?? upside down??

  • @kkkastig ..No..There is a fill port in the top.

  • really like your setup..the coolant go to little radiator and it cools down before it hits the gpu...gonna do mine with this setup..nice video..;-D

  • hello friend. joel my name. a question. I bought a asus p8p67 +8 gb pro ddr3 xfx + 1GB DDR5 256bit readon amd thermaltake 750 watt + 2700 + 3.40 + i5 my pc is good. Guegan and design for program assis thing. friend and I recommended to me is not hot. than a cooling friends

  • mad system

  • (1) that is not a gtx590

    (2) your idle temperature is rubbish as my stock cooler runs only 5-10 celcius more

    (3) bad move on filling up all 4 ram slots as it decreases speed

  • @kobasica Looks like someone is having a bad day...lol

    (1) Yes it WAS a GTX590..but now Im running 3 GTX580 Hydro copper 2 FTW's in SLI

    (2) You have no idea what you are talking about. Cooling a GTX590 and a Core i7 on a single loop with a H70 and getting 26* is good

    (3) Are you joking? More RAM is a good thing. This machine FLY's!!!

    (4) Oh...here is the item number on eBay from when I sold the 590.. 190546512852..fell free to look it up..then check out my newest vid :)

  • @lvl8hacker he's just jealous awesome rig m8!

  • @blazeitup94 ...I know huh :) How can he just come out and say things like that with out even knowing. Thanks for the good feedback

  • @lvl8hacker true, if he wouldn't be so stupid and look on your other videos he would see it is a 590 and it's not about how many degres the cpu is running with stock fan later on with a overclocked cpu running at 100% the facct is stock cooler goes over 100 celsius and h70 around 70

  • @lvl8hacker

Actually he has some point when it comes about the watercooling and the idle temperature because the water cooling and the somewhat better result you get from it do not justify the price it costs. Apparently money doesn't matter to much to you but people who have to think about their economics would actually not afford a watercooled system.

I spent about 1.000€ for my system. The same one with watercooling would have been about 1.500€.

    A none justified price...

  • @LukasVideosify Again man...I dont know what you are trying to say. No where in the comments were we talking about the price of my build. My comment was to the fact he just comes on here and says things like " Thats not a GTX 590" when it actually is. Him trying to compare air to water is pointless. The temps he talks about are CPU and the temps I am talking about in the video are with CPU AND GPU. The temps I am getting are very good with an over clocked 2600K @ 4.6ghz.

  • @LukasVideosify With water cooling it has allot more to do with just Idle temps. It also has to do with performance of the system. The cooler you keep your stuff the better and longer it will run. I know not everyone can put together a system like mine but the beauty of modding PC's is that you dont have to spend a ton of money to get good results....I could have spent way more than I did if I ended up with all the parts I wanted.

  • @lvl8hacker

And still I think you know that the price doesn't justify the gain in performance. Soon the new Intel Trigate processor will be out and the "old" i7s will be much cheaper. Why do you try to tell me that this makes your system run longer although we both know that your system will be replaced by a new one long before this one really came to it's last days?

I think that a good i7 nowadays will work for at least 5 years if not overclockled. By then we both have a new system.

  • @LukasVideosify I dont know where you are trying to go with this. Just because there is a new this or a new that coming out one day makes no difference to the fact that the system will last long or not. Upgrades these days are a dime a dozen and would not be to hard to do. I do believe you get what you pay for

  • @lvl8hacker

All I want to say that the life time is no argument in a world in which all computer pieces loose most of their value within one year and you can buy a much cheaper system then which you probably will.

  • @lvl8hacker PLEASE TELL ME WHAT FANS YOU ARE USING !!!!!!!

  • @leafboy412 Hey...they are the Cooler Master Sickle Flow 120mm blue

  • @lvl8hacker alright thanks , wow dude that's such a nice build!!! so clean as well!!! what are the sizing of your fittings though?and what speed is that 2600k on? and what temps are you getting? haha im asking all these questions cause im building pretty much the same thing.well very close ...

  • @kobasica hahahaha someone is jealous you mad broooo???

  • mate another quick question , if the mother bored is only a duel channel , how are you running tripple ram ?

  • @StaticCinemaHD

Its not tripple ram . Look up this part number at newegg.com...N82E16820145330

  • oi bro What Case is that ?

  • Also what kind of camera are you using? Cuz it looks real good.

  • Looks awesome, I get all my water cooling stuff from FrozenCPU as well. Looks like you ordered the EK HF Supreme 360 kit?....I did the same cuz it was so easy, except 240 version.

  • @PCModderMike Thanks Mike, I did order the EK360 kit. However I subbed the small stock tube with Primochill 1/2ID 3/4 OD tubing and swapped all the silver EK stock fittings with the Black Bitspower comp fittings. To answer your other question, I filmed this with my Canon 5DMKII DSLR and a 24-70mm 2.4L lens. If I would have used this camera to do my latest video,( I read your comment about the lighting ,agreed) It might have turned out a bit better..lol

  • @iSortez How much I want for what?

  • The blue looks purple lol.

  • Nice touch my friend, loop looks good

  • Can you link to your fittings off of frozen cpu?

  • @topsub2003 Hey..Thanks for the great comments.....youtube will not let me put links in replys but...just search for part number BP-MBRCPF-CC5 on frozencpu and you will see them. I also got the bitspower in the 45* as well. Hope that helps

  • Very Nice system. I am building close to that with a 580 GTX evga, with the same case, mobo, procesor and was interested in a water cooling system. its nice to see the same case with a setup like this. Looks good. I always wondered about a solid color tubing if it would look right but i like the stealth look.

  • @MrCoryProductions

Hey...sorry for the late reply...The one in there is a 150ml....Im sure you could fit a 250ml in there but you would not be able to have it on top of the pump like I did. EK sells the part to mount the pump infront of the res, or you always just mount your pump some where else in the case. Just remember to have it mounted lower than your res. Once all the air gets out of the loop, the water will last a good while. You would only need to top it off maybe once a month if that.

  • @MrCoryProductions

I listed the specs in the description for the loop. The pump is a EK waterblocks 4.0 pump. I dont think you can buy it alone, it comes with the 360 kit.

  • rich much!

  • Can you please add all your system specifications?

  • @kronoXcr I listed the specs in the description for the loop

  • @lvl8hacker when you dont need the ram cooler and the h70, you can send me :-))

  • awesome dude looks rly good!

  • @AlmightyTipsy

    THANKS!

  • Nice build! very nicely done. I have a watercooled i7 950 @ 4.3ghz and i aim to get my two gtx 580 in the loop. Currently i only have a 360mm xspc rad cooling the GPU, due to the limited size of my case, do you rekon adding a 140mm rad + 360mm rad be enough to cool CPU + 2 x GTX 580?

  • @abshassan

Do you plan to overclock? if so it might not be enough. It would however be better than stock air cooling.

  • You should consider adding a couple 120mm fans to the acrylic side window.. It'll help reduce case temperatures by giving you more airflow in the case.

  • @eternallord

yeah....not going to cut the window. The case temps are REAL low as it is...theres 12 fans in the case as it sits and two RADS. Temps are as low as I am going to get them in this case. With the P67 chipset and i7 2600k you are not going to have a case temp issue

  • Nice uppgrade with the move over to water cooling.

Digg the maximus iv extreme and gtx 590 combo...

  • @UcRecords1 Thanks Man...Yes, Im really liking the setup, but as you know, when you catch the bug the upgrades never really stop. :) Stay tuned for more soon!

  • @lvl8hacker I know what you mean got gtx 580 now but "need" a gtx 590 as soon as they got the one I want in stock. I will stay tuned, keep up the good work thumbs up...
