I think Bush is trying to cover up his mistake by getting rid of people who served in the military during the Iraq war. Most of the soldiers being bullied are followed and harassed. Some of them have been placed on the FBI Terror Watch List and are watched constantly. They don't have normal lives, and are constantly worrying about their survival. Many of the suicides are forced suicides induced by the government.

I will surrender the fact that yes, there is probably someone in the military that killed themselves because they didn't want to kill anymore, but that is simply untrue for the vast majority of people that commit suicide in the military.

I was in the Army long enough to know that, believe it or not. Most of those suicides related to a spouse, or girlfriend. Not because they felt bad about war... I have seen first hand how some of these soldiers deal with being rejected. It sounds stupid, but its true.. At any rate, something needs to be done.. These men are our lifeline, anything that CAN be done SHOULD be done. Most of the problem stems from how they are being trained!

Most of the people who choose to end their lives have a pretty solid reason why, and it is usually connected to what they are living in at the time ... doing, professionally active, close-quarters living etc. There is a lot of honor in suicide, and the military bunion who is crapping on it is merely central to a system that is corrupt and ignorant of the larger issues around it.

I feel bad for these soldiers, even tho i'm Arab. I genuinely feel for people who have to witness killing on a daily basis. Although I do not condone suicide (in any faucet of war), people have to understand the psychological tole it takes on a human mind to witness other humans suffer. I do not understand why this is so hard for other humans to grasp. When animals witness other animals getting killed they become psychologically perturbed at the sight, so what makes humans any different?

I'm not buying it. Sure the soldiers are sick, but I bet a lot of those 'suicides' are actually murders (fratricide and hit teams shutting down patriots).

the jurys still out on obama for me. the guy at 1;30 looked evil to me, not like literally evil, but like he would be a good satan in a movie. not here specifically, but a previous time i saw him he really looked evil. imagine him in a red and black pinstripe suit with some cat eye contacts and a fiery background
