  • I met one of these guys the other night. . . When I saw him he was posted up about head high and he heard me coming. I heard him in the bushes and barely saw his outline in the light. I was amazed and got close enough to see his face about a foot above and 4 away from my head. I wasnt scared of him and was in awe. Then I started thinking wait a minuet maybe he could have jumped on me. I guess theyre not so mean. . . But I dont know!

  • so cute

  • Yeah put em right next to a road that's a good idea

  • run across the road I DARE YOU!!!

  • lol when u let them go, its a wonder that they didnt attack you.......

  • BTW, You made a mistake when you mentioned you drove out the coons 15 km's to the farmland didin't you?

anything over 1 km is illegal.

  • @79Testo

True, but it is better than killing them. If I don't move them more than 1 km, they just come back. At least I am giving them a chance to live somewhere else.

  • @pilaar39 I would also relocate them at least 25 miles away, so they don't come back and they still have a chance (however slim) at survival, but relocation of any trapped wild animal over 100 yards is illegal in my state, so that leaves killing humanely as the only option if I don't want these things to return. I don't mind shooting raccoons in the head, but I wish it were legal to relocate them a long way away instead.

  • For you to be speaking in "KM's" you have to be canadian...where you from?

  • @79Testo

    Toronto, ON, Canada

  • @pilaar39

same here....I have a trapping license though....

  • Now you are releasing the coon on other peoples farms. Best to shoot them in the trap.

  • @79Testo

It is illegal to discharge a firearm within city limits. Besides, I don't want to kill them, just get rid of them. They are better off in their natural wild habitat.

  • @pilaar39

Same law here for me too. But a "Hunter Trapper's Permit" gives the right to kill the coon humanely, which is a trap and shoot situation just like you have here.

  • @79Testo

We have different firearms laws in Canada. Absolutely illegal to discharge a firearm within city limits. I live in Toronto, ON, Canada

  • They would make a lovely pair of slippers!!!!

  • i tried to keep a coon as a pet...and now i had surgery on my legs

  • I have a cruel way about me if i was in that situation i would throw that cage in the nearest water source im just messed up im sorry

  • @Gearsofwarplayer17 Well, I am not cruel - I just relocate them

  • I have caught many wild racoons - some growl, some don't. Trust me - these were NOT pets. No one in my area keeps pet racoons! They are a nuisance - tearing up lawns looking for grubs.

  • they are pet coons. they would be growling at you because they are wild.

  • for a minute i was expecting one to try and dart across the road

  • watch my vids A SIMPLE LIVE TRAP I MADE TO CATCH SMALL ANIMALS--- 2 vids about a good trap

  • hey where do you buy a trap from what store? plz reply

  • go to walmart and buy some or look it up online
