@mango018 Sorry, the format is kind of confusing but it's the best I can do in a youtube comment! :D The time it occurs and all of my remarks will come before the note names of each chunk in this comment. Right Hand - 0:12 – 0:16 E, B, D, A, E, B, B. (The trill sound at 0: 16 - 0:17) B, D, E, G. 0:17 – 0:21 E, B, D, A, B, G, G. Then repeat this whole chunk again and that gets you through the first 30 seconds XD Good Luck!

@mango018 For everyone who's trying to learn it on the piano. I'm not a great piano player (just learning) But I've been trying to figure this out by ear. Here's what I have so far 0:00 - 0:33 : Left hand - 0:00 - 0:06 E, then G and B together. (x2) D, then F#(sharp) and A. (x2) D, then G and B. (x4) 0:07 - 0:12 E, GB. (x2) D, F#A. (x2) G (lower octave), DG(higher octave). (x4) Then repeat that whole chunk and play it with right hand (which I'm going to post in a second comment.)

The piano reminds me a little of the piano from the film, "Tarnation" music by Max Avery Lichtenstein. Which by the way is worth definitely checking out, special film with a very special soundtrack.

I suppose I could upload a video of me playing this song...someday. I'm a busy person. When I first heard this song, it reminded me very much of Amelie. I play the soundtrack of Amelie on piano all the time but rest assured, Beginners theme isn't exactly Amelie but they share the same notation in the beginning and in various parts of the song.

This song is similar to Amelie but its not quite the same. The bass cleft of Amelie's theme is almost the same as the bass in this song but one key is different. This is a very simple song to learn by ear. I'll give you a hint. Bass cleft (left hand) is in the key of E just like Amelie. Listen carefully to the higher pitched notes. That's the right hand (treble cleft).

This particular song on the soundtrack really reminds me of another soundtrack. I thought about The Fountain, The Piano or Amélie, but couldn't find it on those soundtracks. I'm quite lost now, so is there anyone who might have an idea? :-)
