Yeah this is SICK!! Well not long, none off this CRAP will be happening too any animals! My husband works at the Meatworks, doing BobbyClaves, he hates it.. alot of people do - seeing this VIDEO - Just makes you sick!! Poor Baby Booby Calves!!

You don't have to go vegan or vegetarian to stop supporting these barbaric conditions. I only buy my dairy products from farms that have non-cruelty practices in place. I pay more for it, but I don't care. It takes a little more effort, but by making sure the products you buy are cruelty free, you can help in your own way. (also, stay the f*ck away from veal. There's no excuse for it.)

It makes me really sad to see calves go to market and we do everything we can to make them comfortable. We only send calves that are strong and fit. They are well fed with colostrum (the ultra-rich milk cows make just after calving) just before they are loaded into the truck. It's also a relief to read the research that shows calves can go 30 hours without feed without suffering. We feed ours every 24 hours but they do have constant access to water and muesli too.

i have loaded bobby calves they are very hard to handle as yes they are weak they dont know what is happening but i dont eat veal but i undestand that their is a demand for veal at least they are not killed in the kosher way

I'm a dairy farmer. We barely make a living but we do it because we love our animals and the land. Some of these comments are not well informed. Some are just downright nasty.

I work in a beef processing facility and I am truly disgusted at the way these poor babies are treated. Once cattle get to us, they are treated in the most humane way possible. These farmers need to learn a thing or two about animal welfare.

I understand they are livestock but jesus christ dude... plus most of that yummy dairy product comes from animals treated with rBGH... mmmm good ol infection & antibiotics with my milk... maybe thats why it went up so much a gallon.. pay for all the puss & medications in it... the cattle industry is one of the most disgusting.. i don't know how people can eat that crap

I've worked on Australian farms and been in an Australian abattoir...I've always found some of our farming practices barbaric, nothing has changed.
