Great tutorial....always looking for ways to make my own decorations etc. as there are no shops nearby that sell the 'real stuff'....reminds me of sparkle paints when I was younger!!! :)
Oooo sparkley , Very pretty Leslie .i love the experiments you conduct and how you share the results with us. I too think I need to look for a craft mat maybe a trip to the craft store will be in my future??? Awww appliances first I think Then..... craft goodies :)
@tachar Thank you Shelly. Yes, "sparkly". I'm finding my way, s----l----o----w-----l----y into glitter and flowers. Still not comfortable with them but I'm less afraid to experiment. Some day...
Another fantastic idea Leslie! I love it! I don't have a craft mat though, so I think I'll add that to my "list"! That stamp is already on my list! You've used it before and it's just gorgeous! Okay...what's next? I can't wait! :o)
Wow, your videos are looking SO good!! I keep forgetting you have another channel Leslie, Thanks so much for sharing this great tip!! Warm thoughts, Karen
Great tutorial, thanks. What would happen if you mixed the glitter right in with the ink and glossy accents, then applied it to your item? Would that work... I've never had stickles so I don't really know what it is like.
@deettle Thank you for your comment. If you were going to do this in small batches I think it would work well. If you are thinking of making up a bunch and storing it in a bottle I don't know what would happen. Sounds like an interesting concept though.
@maureencmathis Thank you Maureen :-) I would think craft ink would do well in this technique since it does have a longer "wet" time. I'll have to try that next time. OR you can try it and let us know how that works for you :-) *hint, hint*
@WhatYouMakeIt1 Thank you Jann :-) I have to stay away from Michaels and Hobby Lobby or we will be in the "Poor House" since I can't seem to control myself - lol. Besides, experimentation is fun :-)
I use wax paper for my craft mat. It works pretty good.

What a cool trick! Love the "Cheap Tricks" title for ideas like these! Does dye or craft ink work any differently with this method?
