  • Greetings I like your computers maybe one day if I need any computer for my ship I'll know where to go. I'll have Scotty to beam you and your computers up :-D Have A Great Day!!

  • Whoa, hardcore nostalgia. I remember my mom getting a Packard Bell for us the Christmas of '95. I was only, like, 11 or 12 or something like that. I remember this Navigator like it was yesterday.

There was a game that came with the system. Journeyman or something like that. I remember playing it and it scaring me so bad, lol. Thanks for uploading this and I am enjoying all of your videos about these older computers.

  • I had a Packard Bell computer back in the day. It ran Windows ME and something similar to the Packard Bell Navigator - it was more 3D and had a much bigger house and I think the icon was the Windows Butterfly. You wouldn't know the name of it would you?

  • It's great that you're sharing these videos. Our first family PC was a Packard Bell Legend 20CD, but it is long gone. It's great to know that this kind of stuff is being documented, so we can show our kids what things were like back in the day.

  • Wow, i remember the ski game with the yeti monster who terrorised me when i was a child. It was our first family computer family and it was fascinating.

    thanks for fhis video.

  • Oh this takes me back. Our first PC was a Packard Bell with this very version of Navigator. Windows 95, pentium 75mhz. "Welcome from Packard Bell...We offer you two computing environments to choose from...Packard Bells Navigator or Microsoft Windows. You may also begin by taking a quick lesson on using the mouse". Ran much better later in life with some more RAM and Windows 98 SE + 56k modem (before the days of cheap broadband).

  • You would think with how dumbed down their trying to make computers now-a-days the industry would bring something like this (or Microsoft BOB, but this was better looking/running then the BOB program) back. It could be adopted to Smartphones, Tablets & even Gaming Consoles/Home Entertainment/Media systems/Smart TVs as well.

  • What I haven't seen is the secret attic space that was an add on to the children room that had a rocket that took you to the internet city. Sites were buildings like Lucid and it had a sewer cover that took you to the TEN multiplayer game network. I'll get mine out and post the video.

  • Extreme of nostalgia. Hopefully there's a disc image of this. Wow.

I thought this was Win 95. It's PACKARD BELL NAVIGAT0R CLASSYNESS !! Sucked in for soooooo so much as a wee little jit. Sheesh..

  • The house does not have a roof! its gonna flood! oh cruel world

  • Can you please do more ark kidspace videos?

  • I remember that computer! I use to have one of that when I was a little boy and now it's gone for good.

  • The first Windows 95 pc I used was a Packard Bell 166mhz Pentium.

I remember Navigator with some fantastic sense of nostalgia and as you said fond memories.

Thanks for the video, brought back some good feelings.

  • Of all known versions of navigator I think: 1.1, 2.0 (rare), 3.0, 3.5, and 3.9. Let me know if you want them roadgeek.

  • Somewhere I have copies od

  • what about a video of navigator 3.9

  • My first PC was a 1994 Packard Bell Pentium 100Mhz with 8Mb RAM with 815Mb Hard Disk running Windows 95. It boasted a Quad speed CD ROM drive and a 28.8 Baud Mwave Modem. It also had 512Kb Cirrus Logic onboard Gfx. Came bundled with Descent and a few other games etc. I loved it and would re-install the computer every 6 months or so from the factory reset disk as it was plagued with coruption/software issues. I leaned allot from that PC.

  • ha! my first pc was a Packard Bell! Packard Bell Navigator was my life line for a few weeks. BTW - go Apple!

  • This was the best memory for me. Could you please pm me a link to download the files for Navigator? My old Packard Bell died when I was 4 years old.

  • Oh man, I remember Navigator, I miss it!

  • 03:09

    BLEW MY FUCKING MIND!

  • The only time I had this was on my old "Pizza Box" Computer with Windows 95. Did they release any Downloads of it, Or was is Propriatary to the Packard Bell Systems. Just need to be pointed in the right direction.

  • Does anyone know of where I can obtain the Packard Bell Navigator Installation CD?

  • THIS HAD A ADIBOO GAME ON THE SHELF :op

  • I nostalgia'D very hard. Also When you Went to kid-space I reverted to a state of "HURRY UP AND CLICK SOMETHING!"

  • I have a monstor packardbell computer and its a 286 it has that software on it and windows 3.11 I worked for NCR for 9.5 years and one of the contracts they had was repairing all those packardbells sold online and by sears . I still have 4 or 5 motherboards 2 tv tuner cards and a few misc. parts . Glad to see someone else has one of those beasts . Mine weighs around 60 pounds

  • I used to have the navigator on my old packard bell pc. It was shipped with windows 98 and had the word "Club" written under the activity lights. Maybe you could tell me what model number it was if you know. Although my version of navigator was different to yours. It used to have animations when you went in the rooms. Oh well never the less it still brings back memories. Great Vid!

  • check out those graphics!

  • "This navigator house doesn't have a bathroom"

  • Do you know where to download Packard Bell Navigator 3.9?

  • OMG.. I had the same computer... LOL.. Funny you posted this. I remember how "high tech" i thought the navigator was back then.. Packard bell definitely was innovative for having that navigator option..I preferred it to Windows.. No I prefer Mac to windows...lol

  • Definitely brings back memories...

  • ahh, the memories

  • HEY WE ONCE HAD THAT COMPUTER!!!!!

  • Oh my god. THE NOSTALGIA!!

  • I got a Packard Bell computer from my parents when I was 18. I recognize The Navigator House. However, you could move with your mouse to the left and right in each room and click to load a second part of the room. There was also another room for if you had a older child. My father had the WorkSpace, my younger brother had the KidSpace and I had MySpace. Yet there was a hidden game in that space called Memory in the form of a harddisk with sounds.

  • cool, thanks.

  • cool video, I'm running windows 95 and microsoft virtual pc, I insert the cd into the drive but it can't load, you know what could the problem be?

  • @Brandtner1234 You'll probably need a Packard Bell boot floppy to get it to boot, if it's the Master CD you're talking about. I remember seeing a site sometime back that had Packard Bell boot floppies for download. If I can find it again, I'll let you know.

  • dude do you remember the name of fight game from packard bell w95? xP

  • The nostalgia! It hurts!!

  • I loved Kidspace!

  • Wow this brings back so many good memories. Thanks so much for posting this video :)

  • OH MY GOD! I miss my old PB computer. It came with so much software that kept me on that thing for hours. I'm so sad that I lost it AND Navigator. We got ours from Sears....=) MEMORIES! I was a lil bitty kiddo with pigtails and barrettes in my hair...
