I love this song. I am going to listen to this everyday. I just love it. He is so creative. It is so cool that he can make a note thats bad sometimes sound so terific. Either way I love it
Well, it could have that affect for some people, but I think that some of the most loudest bands or whatever bore me more than his flute solos ever would, I find them much more original.
I wholly agree. And I don't know why I was thumbs down'd to a negative reaction someone I know had. I love Tull and Ian's inspired flute solos, personally. He's why I took up flute.
Yes they do, its no wonder because he is also a guitarist and he started off as one before he picked up the flute. He has also noted in interviews that his style of flute playing was just rhythmic and a lot like the guitar.

1:22 - 1:45 reminds me of a piece of classical music but I can't remember for the life of me what it is. Maybe bach?
ithotofthisfirst 7 months ago
@ithotofthisfirst Yes, it's from Bach but I don't remember the name.

@nicolasdelariva Think it's part of Toccata & fugue
ithotofthisfirst 7 months ago
@ithotofthisfirst No, it isn't. I'd recognise it if it were Toccata & Fugue.

@Pasalaqcua I actually think it's the start to the fugue part of Toccata & Fugue in D minor. Thanks for the suggestion though.
