I been weaved, fried, dyed and the like, but when I went natural, I received so many insults, from....guess who? The black women with relaxers, weaves. Also, the so called conscious "sistahs" told me nappy hair makes the best locs. my hair is curly... mine was not "black" enough. I don't care, it's your choice to lie or not to lye. To me I caught hell for both the relaxers and the sistahs. Some black women are truly mean...there's no words to desribe. You do have a valid point.

natural hair is beautiful ive been natural for a year now and its nothing wrong with it! for the relax girls i dont dog them out about there hair but... when you think about it relaxer is a chemical that if your using it you have to know what your doing if you dont your falls out. its not good for the hair. ut ive never attacked a black female with relaxed hair. are hair is supposed to be kinky anyways thats how god made us!

Hi, I give you a run down on the different hair style you mention. Like a women dying her hair is not healthy for her. Some of the chemicals can get in their head. Also they can get lymphatic cancer. And some of the synthetic products have chemical in it that is the same stuff they put in antifreeze and car brakes.

In a society where so many black women don't even know how to care for their natural hair and wearing your natural hair is seen as strange or is made fun of, then it's a big deal when someone do decides to go natural. It's also a show of confidence because that's what their hair really looks like. Unlike weaves, where a chick could look tore up once it comes out. Wearing your hair naturally, In My Opinion, says that your focused on your natural beauty.
