An arts group in the Borough of Phoenixville, PA (where the Colonial Theater is loc.) re-enacts this run-out scene each year at Hallowe'en, IIRC, with volunteers from the neighborhood.

@danielborges69 actually, alot of people are smiing and laughing. since they filmed this at an actual theater in a small town they just said come to your local theater and you can be in the new film the blob. these were no talented people. they just got some guys and told them to run. none of these people screamed, that was added in later, and for many of these people it was just a fun thing not a serious acting thing
