I am sorry, I had to forward through the videotaped scenes. I left my ex-husband after escalating incidents. It's very very hard. It's been almost exactly a year, May 29th is when I left him. Thank you for sharing this though.

My ex husband used to kick me out the hosue alos, and I had to walk two miles in bare foot to my grandmas house for shelter after a row. Whenever I called the police he used to play down the arguments saying that I was a crazy woman and that he was sorry that I wasted their tuime - I wouldn't dared have said otherwise in case he turned violent agian when they left. I also went on midnight walks.  I had no friends and he cut off my family one by one. He stabbed my legs so that I couldn't walk.

Thank you. I am now living woith my children in another town. I had to get away from the memories. I've been single for about 4 years now just can't trust another man.

That made me cry,how could he do that.

My Mother was married to an absolute nutter.

My Father would be her so badly people would,nt recognise her,fractured her skull with a iron bar,locked her up to the point of malnutrition. My sweet gentle Mum died way before her time ,she had a heart defect but the malnutrition damaged her heart as well.

She died on the operating table.
