wow. I hate it how the majority of the comments for this video are about how people compare this EP to the first SSSC album, or this band to RATM's work. Please, just shut the fuck up and listen to the fucking music. Your feedback is not needed. Opinions are like assholes; everybody has one and no one wants to hear about it.
I like this song. I do not like their first album because it's all shit, not the guitarist, it's a singer. Boots Riley sings shit and swearing. They don't sounds like Rage Against The Machine. It's garbage. That is my opinion. RATM rules!!!
@rhcp2320 yeah, unfortunately people expect, especially with SOAD, that when a huge band goes into solo careers, the music that the solo albums have to be exactly like the huge bands albums, if that makes sense. really the whole point of going solo is to explore different ideas than you were doing in your original band. serj has done it quite well, but people hate his new album because it "sucks compared to SOAD." Its two different bands, they arent supposed to sound alike
@Dillbob1 Ehh.. That doesn't really apply here. To be honest, as far as difference goes, there is not much between this and Rage. They sound very similar so it would not make sense to argue that this shouldn't be compared to his previous work. If you want to make that argument, then talk about his solo act as the Nightwatchman. Honestly, this sounds just like Rage, just not as good in my opinion.
@rhcp2320 There first album was ok, i only like there two songs Fight! Smash! Win! and 100 little curses. There's a new album SSSC Ghetto Blaster. It's good, I like it, i'm mean Boots Riley's voice is sound better like high and soft. i can't explain it but ya
@Wormdog84 not really. RATM are back together now. Tom Morello needs to finish touring with the SSSC in November. Hopefully, RATM will record a new album this December or next year in 2011.

RATM has heavy chord progression, not "trickle down verses" like this song has. The only reason why you think it does is because it says "Tom Morello" on the cover. If it said "Boots Riley and Wes Borland", you would complain that this sounds EXCATLY like limp bizkit.

No no, I mean that their live performances were AMAZING and full of raw power and the first album seemed too polished and over-produced for the sound. This EP sounds rawer, and captures the energy of SSSC better.
Yeah, and their studio songs still kick ass, I got my face melted in Mass, oh my word..I only went because of this band. Yeah, I liked the NinJa tour, just the opening act kicked the rest of the shows ass.
@urasmore thats cause when morello asked boots to join, he had already recorded the guitar tracks for the entire album on a mixtape, he just wante dhim to put lyrics on it

I saw this band live before I heard any of their songs and I was kind of disappointed that their live energy didn't transfer over to their first album. But damn, this EP gets that energy down pact.
