My dad knew someone who did this but I don't know if it was battery operated or not. Anyway, being up there, how do you keep the track clean? Aren't you scared the train might derail and fall off?
@ajithlondon It has 6 C-cell batteries in the "Coal" section. I haven't had to change them yet, but it doesn't run unless I get company to show it off. BTW, I tore it down a year ago because we moved. Planning to put it back up at our new house with whole new twist. May take a year to get it done.

Did it myself. Took about 3 months. Taking it down took an hour :(
