  • hey! don't worry too much :) i know how u feeel i've been the same way. i was mostly raw and now im mostly cooked. (check out body ecology.com!) it could help you a lot :)

i've been doing it for about 3 months now!

  • @Pureglow16 Thanks so much. I have the BED book and thought about doing it when I was raw but I didn't get into it because I was against cooked foods. Now, I pretty much eat the BED way. I am going to incorporate more cultured veggies, which I have been lacking, for the most part. I will review the book and the BED channel again. Thank you for your suggestion and for watching. :)

  • do you have a boyfrind cause am dropping off my aplication.

  • Awww ... you're really gorgeous but you worry too much!

If you get your 80/10/10 answers, I'll be very interested in finding out why it just won't work although it feels like it's the right thing. I also have the same problems as you so yes ... =/

I've noticed the same about cooked food. My skin simply glows on 80/10/10; everything else makes it worse. But there are those other issues that make me unable to stay on it and when I fail, I feel even worse. >_<

Good luck in finding answers! :)

  • You must let go of the morality drama. Guilt should never factor into any diet plan. If there is guilt, that needs to be worked on and resolved.

For one: never feel proud of yourself when eating right. If you do that you will stop tormenting yourself when/if you slip-up.

  • @karen90631 Thank you for your thoughtful advice.

  • @JRHALTOM I'm not sure about that little dude. What's your name and who are your parents?

  • @JRHALTOM Who's your aunt?

  • @thrivesurvive You are amazing.

  • @jrlcgmx Thanks so much for watching! :)

  • cooked foods when and if you do eat them. Your health problems may be due to energy imbalances you have. I am not trying to preach to you or tell you what you should be doing, but if you are stressed and have suffered trauma then it "clings" to your etheric body, your chakras and forms all sorts of health problems. The best thing you can do is eat healthy and feel joy.

  • @tapetumxlucidum Thank you for your thoughtful suggestions. :)

  • Alexis, it's awesome that you are so hardcore, but I must implore you not to ever feel guilty! Look at the spiritual side of things...It is about your beliefs, your intentions. You will be healthier if you eat cooked food now and then and don't feel guilty. Believe that you are healthy, put that intention out into the universe. Say out loud,"My vibration is raising. I walk in the light, I am of light. I am healthy." Imagine your body being bathed in and out in white light and take joy in

  • NO WAY!!! Dehydrated foods are worse than cooked quinoa, or cooked veggies. Dehydrated foods is so dry and heavy.

  • @xsliceofheavenx Wouldn't it depend on the food? I would eat dehydrated foods with fresh raw juicy food of course. I'm talking about veggie burgers. Patties and dehydrated breads loaded with fresh veggies. The dehydrated patties would be made of veggies and still relatively moist. This way I can get more calories without eating so much cooked.

  • @thrivesurviv Would it be bad to eat cooked broccoli with grapes?

Ok if its moist then its ok. but those dehydrated crackers etc, are very heavy .

  • @thrivesurvive Oh what about brown rice instead of white rice? Isnt brown rice healthy?

  • @xsliceofheavenx I eat brown rice when I eat cooked food. I try to avoid white rice whenever possible. We do the best we can with what we have. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. :)

  • @xsliceofheavenx I would never eat cooked broccoli with grapes. Gross. :) and digestion nightmare. For sure, certain dehydrated foods are very heavy. I love dehydrated cheesy kale chips. I really miss those.

  • @thrivesurvive LOL!! No I dont mean mixed together I ment , right after eating the broccoli I would eat the grapes, I didnt get no bad digestion at all!! :) I felt the best than ever!:)

  • @xsliceofheavenx I would get a tummy ache if I tried that.

  • @thrivesurvive Oh well !! I guess it depends on who eats it. I mean its not like your eating poision. Its just broccolli. Who really cares, People shouldnt get so obsessed on raw diet, if your eating plain whole foods it shouldnt be a problem. If your eating pizza ,sandwiches, chocolate, eating that should give you a tummy ache.

  • @xsliceofheavenx I would get a tummy ache if I ate broccoli followed by grapes, but everyone is different. Diet is more personal than religion. I don't profess to tell anyone else what to eat.

  • @thrivesurvive True!!:) Eat what you like and be happy!!

Eating haelthy of course!! I love quinoa by the way. Ive been eating only grapes lately.

  • Thanks for this! I relate to this so much! I just went back to a cooked vegan diet myself, after a stint experimenting with 811. I've been high raw for a little while now, 100% for the past couple of months, up until a couple of days ago, and also had a fungal explosion on the high fruit diet, which i tried to fix, but just keeps getting worse.

  • @FraterAnarkhos I'm sorry to hear that. My demonologist said what I have under my armpits is just eczema. It is much better now that I am treating it like eczema instead of a fungal infection. I eat high raw vegan now, and am doing better in some ways and worse in others, but definitely better than when I was doing 811. I hope you get better too.

  • I don't feel so good. I have candida too. I'm pretty new to raw eating so I do appreciate you coming foward to tell your stories cuz I am sooo relating to what you are saying. I wish you could make more videos of your progress and what you do to solve problems that arise. I hope you are well now. Thanks so much. P.S. Hypoglycemia and candida seem to go hand and hand. These diseases are very real and very dibilitating.

  • @RITRTR Thank you for your comment. I am sorry you are also having problems. I was watching a Douglas Grahm video and he mentioned something about people with adrenal fatigue not doing well with fruit, but he didn't elaborate. I don't remember him mentioning it in his book either, because I think I have severe adrenal fatigue, which is one of the main reasons I started eating raw in the first place. I still need to research why fruit sugar and adrenal fatigue don't go together.

  • Sounds you might even have food allergies. I'm the queen of chronic food allergies. They can cause soooo many problems in the human body. But what is weird is why a lot of these problems including food allergies hasn't gone away by now. Typically raw food diet with solve almost all problems. I wonder what's up here. I put myself on raw to help with some of the problems you have and even worse. I am hypoglycemic and when i eat a lot of fruit .....

  • im sorry this comment is kinda dumb! ! but your finally eating right? feels good!!

  • Hi, I just found your 14 Day Green smoothie videos and you looked way healthier and happier there! Looks like you have had an interesting journey. Hope all is well for you.

  • Alexis I appreciate you not wanting to use certain medicines. But as a backup should your eczema get bad again you should keep some Hydrocortisone 1% cream in your medicine cabinet. The stuff works great when the itching is driving you crazy. It is available over the counter and you never want to be without it should you have an eczema flair up and nothing else is working.

  • Alexis please forgive me for correcting you. But you don't ramble, you impart knowledge to the viewers. Washing the armpits every day helps ward off fungus and yeast. Sometimes we do have to restort to some anti-fungal pills when we get a stubborn yeast or fungus. They are so worth it when nothing else seems to be working.

  • @lovedbyanimals Thank you for your suggestion. I wash all the time, and it only makes it worse. My dr told me it isn't fungus, but eczema, and the excessive washing was drying it out and making things worse as well. I'm doing a lot better now.

  • I'd suggest reading: The Fungal Link by Doug Kaufmann.

  • @TheDistilledMan Thank you for the recommendation. :)

  • We miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Mia6205 Thank you so much. ((hugs)). I miss all of you too. I have just been crazy busy with work. I will update as soon as I can. I'm still here and doing well. Thank you so much for taking the time to make me feel loved and appreciated today. :)

  • @felix0113 Thank you so much, felix. I have been meaning to make an update for a while but have been so busy. I appreciate your support and I am glad you are doing so well on raw. :)

  • heyy why dont you try a high fruit diet again.. but add in steamed veggies and legumes.. I found this to be a great solution for me especially when i want to muscle up 100% raw is deff hard.. look up alan Goldhamer and his diet reccomendations I think it will interest you alot!

  • @MikeTorre500 Thank yo very much for your suggestion. It's funny you mentioned that. I have never heard of Goldhamer, but I have been eating a high fruit diet for the past few weeks and have been doing pretty well with it. Before that I was eating mostly steamed veggies and beans for a couple of months. I may just try combining the two and see how it works. I suspect it will give me gas and digestive issues, but it's worth looking into.I will check out Goldhamer too. :) Thanks for watching!

  • how did your move go? hope you are well in your journey miss pretty..:)

  • @cherryberryblossom It went well. I have been insanely busy for the past few months. I'm sorry I haven't updated in so long. I hope you and your loved ones are happy and healthy. ((hugs))

  • don't sweat it, i have not made a video in 6 months. time flies when you are confused lol.and i am majorly confused.. i am going on another juice feast for the 92 days. so wish me luck and pray for my lazy butt hahahah

    hugs back

  • @cherryberryblossom awesome! I'm sure you will do great!

  • just keep at it. keep fasting. all and any cooked food is poison. jericho sunfire. u kind of have to ignore the world. the detox is harsh. cooked food is just like a plug, stopping everything up. really we aren't designed to eat food at all. eating just fruit is all about the cleansing. all energy comes from getting that stuff out of u. we will all go through this eventually. cleaning ur external body won't help ever. emotional, mental, spiritual detox, lady.

  • @takepills Thanks so much. :)

  • Glad you are doing well. 80 10 10 did not work out for me either. Too much fruit did not make me feel good. I'm still finding the perfect high raw diet. It really is a journey. It's always nice to watch your videos.

  • Thanks so much! :)

  • For anit-fungal you might want to try chopping 2 cloves of garlic and then pouring about 1 tble spoon of extra vigin olive oil over it and swallowing it like cough syrup. Do it 3 times a day for 3 days if it does not clear go to the doctor. I completley understand not want your "diet" or way of eating to dominate your day. I can relate to just not wanting to have to eat again for a few hours. Your honesty is always appreciated!

  • thank you very much for the suggestion. I think you may have prescribed me the anti-vampire remedy by mistake. or the anti-kissing tincture. :) I will try it. I am fed up with this stinking problem. :)

  • How is your salt & fat intake? Perhaps you have a craving for salt and that is why you eat corn chips. Fats are good because they tend to be more "slow burning." Perhaps you can check out Daniel Vitalis' or David Wolfe's views on these topics. They have worked for me after doing heavy cleansing on mostly raw (green smoothies, salads). You might want to try various cleansers such as garlic, MSM, DMSO, Zeolites, Fulvic Acid, etc.

  • Thank you very much for your suggestions. I will look into it. :)

  • The fungus you are describing sounds exactly like something I am intimately familiar with. The key in my case seemed to be B vitamins. You might want to try several oranges and several Bananas every day for a few weeks plus whatever it is you do for B12.

  • Interesting. I just started taking b12 supplements about a week ago because I was feeling tingling in my extremities so I suspected a deficiency. It's still a small dose though. I probably need an injection. I didn't know it was related to the fungus though. What's the connection? I appreciate your help :)

  • Don't ask me about the exact connection. I'm not a doctor, but from an early age I have noticed a link between my skin and my mood, and B vitamins, which I originally took in pill form, seemed to improve both dramatically, so when I had that fungal experience, I went 100% raw, and it helped a lot, but it really only went away after a few weeks of large amounts of oranges and bananas. Together, those two fruits cover the B vitamins pretty well, but I'm sure you can find other natural sources.

  • Thank you for your help. I was just looking up the connection, and although I don't understand it yet, I have confirmed that there is a connection, so I will definitely take your advice and take b12 more seriously. I eat lots of bananas, but I could eat more and I could eat more oranges for sure. :)

  • You are more than welcome. You look great, by the way. I love your haircut. The oranges are mainly for folate, which is also found in peas. Personally I think oranges are really great and succulent and all that, and they also have a lot of calcium, which your skin needs, too, but there are alternate sources for all those nutrients if you are trying to avoid fruit or acid or sugars. Regarding vitamin B12, keeping huge doses (3000 µg) in your mouth for several minutes seemed to work in studies.

  • Thank you for the great info! :)

  • Glad you've returned. I knew you'd keep going.

    Are you eating low-fat?

Try different methods of detoxing: Salt baths(epsom, sea salt, baking soda), exercise, green tea, skin brushing, de-ionized water.

My advice for transitioning and detox is: make the first food of the day fruit (only as much as you can handle.)

Do you really need to work that much?

People often underestimate the importance of exercise. You should make time for it.

  • Thank you for your advice. I don't get enough exercise at all. I am sitting most of the day. I totally agree. I need to get moving. I also really enjoy fruit in the morning, but I was having weird problems with my blood sugar when I ate so much fruit, so I started having cooked quinoa with bananas, apples and nuts for breakfast and it has been working very well. I am not doing low fat anymore. I agree about the detox. I need to do that too. Thanks for your wonderful suggestions.

  • your always honest able what works and doesnt work for you....which is very helpful advice.

  • thanks so much! I try to be honest. sometimes I forget stuff and end up telling my story wrong, but I do my best to be real about my experiences. thanks for watching and for your encouragement :)

  • that's good your teeth feel better...you are certainly not alone in the raw food transition...i had a funky day yesterday but still remain dedicated to finding my 'niche' in this whole process...hang in there...~Peace

  • Thanks for the encouragement. I am glad you are doing well on your path despite the weird days. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

  • You look and sound so much better than the last time we saw you. Sounds like your not being so hard on yourself mentally. Your going to eventually find out what works best for you. Bravo girl !

  • Thank you so much for the encouragement. I am pretty hard-headed about some things, but I'm starting to come around! :)

  • i agree. i dont like the huge quantities and frequent meals i need to eat on high raw. i feel weak too.

anyway gabriel cousens and hipocrates recommend an 80% raw food diet.

funny i feel guilty eating 100% raw. i feel that i am restricting my diet into possible deficiencies and being fanatical.

  • Thank you very much for your feedback. I am starting to realize my former "all-or-nothing" approach wasn't practical. 80% sounds like a good balance, providing the 20% is whole foods. Thanks for watching and commenting

  • I believe sprouting is such a key component to the raw diet. Good luck!

  • It seems like a really good idea. I don't know why I keep putting it off! Thanks so much for watching and for your encouragement. :)

  • you've never failed. It took me 10 years to get to raw.

  • Thank you for the encouragement! :)

  • thanks for sharing all your experiences and being honest about what works

  • Thank you so much for watching and commenting :)

  • Thank for posting a new vid! Out of curiosity, what is the print behind you?

  • Thanks so much. It's a Michael Parkes image of 3 mermaids, a swan and a dragonfly.

  • Oh, wow! I recognize his artwork. You have good taste :)

  • Thank you!

  • I'm very glad that you're feeling better.

  • Thank you so much. :)

  • Starch and fat is causing your candida. If you might as well eat starch, try to eat lots of greens and vegetables- raw and cooked. The fastest thing to clear your candida is to do a long water fast for at least one day, Then clean your diet from excess fat and add greens.

You are better off fermented foods, because the encourage fungal growth.

  • Thanks for your advice.

  • was just wondering when youd make another video...Good to see your good.

  • Thank you :)

  • Great to see a video from you.

Glad you are starting to find balance and getting through some of your issues.... I think in time you will figure it out entirely and not need to FOCUS on it as much.

I've started to read about sprouting to go along with my raw.. that will be cool to see what you come up with. You certainly are looking a lot heathier~ I can see it in your face and eyes.

Looking forward to seeing you more :)

  • Thanks so much :)

  • Hi! long time no see?! My candida flourised too when I started the 80/10/10. I don't think it's suitable for people who aren't from the tropical regions lol. I've been reading up on metabolic typing diet and I now know why I gained weight on the raw vegan diet. I am more of a protein-type rather than a carb-type. That's why I was always CRASHING. I still believe in unprocessed foods but I realized that balance is the key..

  • I'm glad you found a system that works well for you. I have been eating more "protein" foods, especially quinoa, and I feel better.

  • thanks for being so honest. You seem kind of sad. I hope everything works out for you and you find what works for you.

  • Thanks so much. I'm not sad. I was distracted because I had a lot of work to do and I didn't really feel like making a video.
