omg i was in Claires accessories today and i seriously thought i heard Shinee! lol I've not watched High School Musical so never knew of Corbin Bleu, but i seriously stopped what i was doing and had to listen to make sure i was hearing english and not korean haha I found it quite funny hehe I think what people have wrote is true, I personally like Shinee's version better and do find it more catchy :)

I think the reason shinee did a kind of cover of deal with it is because SM knew the beat and tune would catch Koreans/Asians attention and it did, American's probably like the beat and tune so it wasn't a success for Corbin.

I think that it just depends on how people look at the songs...
