It was cold..therefore the plastic is brittle and wont flex like it will in warm weather. Going plenty fast to break something.

Something I just had to add though...I'm an airplane guy for the most part, and I always laugh at the car guys a bit when a "hot" BL setup is 3s and pushing 800-1000W through it. I fly planes that run 6s and 10s, and are 2500W all the way up through about 5kW! Stick that in a car ;) It just might fly. with some stubby little wings :)

My T-maxx 3.3R has been shattered in the cold by a small flip that if in warm weather, would have broken a control arm at most.

Um, the front shock tower bolts to the chassis with 2-4 screws and is a 5 dollar part to replace....These things break like that because it's easier to replace a 5 dollar part than a 30 dollar part. If you made that part of the car stronger, something else would have broken, ultimately parts like that are made to break as a kind of shock absorption and anybody in the hobby knows that replacement parts are freely available and inexpensive. Just don't drive like a twit.

@Speedy2222 upkeep? There nothing to upkeep out of the box... the servo die day 2.... as for upkeep my traxxas run like a beast! i always use wd 40 to keep rust away and i use after old plus i clean the filter. some thing just give out and there nothing we can do to stop that!

@gemeinerhund i got the new 4.6 big bore shock savage x.. after breakin the servo die, then the one way bearing. I just replace it with a traxxas servo.. Works great! Now it sitting but im going to fix it and maybe have a lot of fun! i just broke my rustler vxl so all 3 are not running! It was an after market part that broke too! lol (that vxl is tough and i had that thing crash at 60mph! it was a very cold out!)
