@Keylogen Item World, Dark World, Cave of Ordeals, and things like that. With a few thieves, even with a 1% chance, it's possible to take some nicer higher ranking items from enemies in Item World while also putting them back to sleep and the like until successful.

@HotelPirata With Adell, you eventually will be able to try passing a bill for him "To become a Senator." I forget how this happens but it's either getting enough Mana, getting to cycle 2+, playing enough hours in the game, or being in a later chapter of the game.

Once Adell is a Senator, he will have the option to attend the Dark Assembly, gaining access to some unique topics such as the one in this video. Check gamefaqs (website for further info.

hey I have a question, after you beat disgaea 2 once, do you get to play a new game plus? you know where you can keep every level, character and equipment/items you had from the last time you cleared the game?

@gamelover1021 Yes, like other games such as Chrono Trigger, Disgaea, etc, these games have a new game+ mode where you retain levels, equipment, etc etc.

@gamelover1021 I think level grinding is best done in the Cave of Ordeals, Stage 4 (CoO4). The base levels are 250 with 8 enemies on 100% experience panels. So you yield double the experience. Further with 300 felonies, you get even more experience. Collecting a bunch of Armsmasters is another good idea to increase Weapon Mastery much faster, maxing at 1900. If your having trouble leveling into the hundreds, passing some stronger enemy bills would be helpful and going to 9-2 I think...

@gamelover1021 Yeah, tower attacks work that way, using your stronger characters at the base of the tower. To level up, it's usually always a better idea to defeat higher level enemies for more experience point gain. You could take on 'Dark World' after making it to the end of the game, and continue gaining levels that way while soon getting better and better bonus gear from the bonus gauge.

@gamelover1021 Yeah, high ranking items and stealing from enemies. For example, finding a Legendary Excalibur isn't too hard when your in a rank 34+ item or something like that. In a legendary rank 39 weapon, getting to the final floor 100, you face the Item God and the Item God should be equipped with a Rank 40 weapon such as the Yoshitsuna (if in Legendary Excalibur. I'm sure there are plenty of guides on gamefaqs that cover this stuff in the PS2 version.

@Brittmalonee2 You can't summon the defender of earth more than once per battle, I'm pretty sure. In order to get a high level on your own, you must learn and read some guides so your units can get into the hundreds, or whatever your shooting for. However, you can capture nearly double the level of your strongest character in monsters you can hire.. so go to a battle like 4-3 red waterfall, and let the enemies level up a bit, but defeat all except for one, leave the geo symbol alone and....

@Brittmalonee2 Try a little bit of a lower level like... 94 or so. and make sure you can hire that unit in the dark assembly, if you cannot hire the neko monster, then you won't be able to capture it, this counts for it's tier class. So try a lower level and make sure you have a couple of your strongest levels in the base panel. =)

@Brittmalonee2 Laharl is level 1000 I think or something like that... yeah *reads my own video description, yup, level 1000.

Are you playing the PS2 version or the PSP?. and when you have a level 90+ monster, and heal this monster to full HP, you can capture another monster around 150, then 225, then 350, etc something like that. and with your higher leveled monsters, if you run low on HL, have them defeat enemies clsoe to there level when you let them level up from the geo panel.

@Brittmalonee2 Weird... in the PS2 version, you can capture an enemy nearly double the level of your strongest, since you have the PSP version, it might be some programming introduced to prevent "cheating" or something like that.

@Brittmalonee2 Indeed, and I just read somewhere they took that out of the PSP version or something... so PSP users cannot do this... so my backup advice is to unlock Dark World. Do this by getting adell to find all the hidden switches in Holt. Then you can start training on the first map / also unlock other dark world maps. If you've been playing long enough, you can also unlock the Cave of Ordeals (CoO) the fourth stage is a great training place. I wonder if the level 99 bug is in psp version.

@Brittmalonee2 The level 99 bug is only in the PS2 version where when you defeat a level 99 enemy, the experience gain is as if you just beat a level 323 or so enemy which would mean a massive level gain for whomever defeated a level 99. In the PSP version however, they took a lot of these bugs and stuff out.

@Brittmalonee2 ...and let the remaining monster cat girl kitsune thing level up until it's about level 110 or so, put your level 61 unit in the base panel, and have units lure and pick up and throw the monster all the way to your base panel, toss the monster into the base panel. you should be able to capture it and then you'd have a stronger unit in your party.

I used level 9999 nekomatta's for this extra stage to only to use for unlocking the extra characters without having to work to hard. I dislike wasting time when it comes to games that take a considerable amount of time to play, like RPG's Morrowind or Disgaea.

At this point in the game, I used Level 9999 Nekomata to achieve my goals, I didn't want to level up my characters THAT much since not many gamers would really become THAT strong. Then I reincarnated Laharl to a lower level ^_^ I only used generics and story characters to beat the whole game, and used the nekomatta to help unlock Laharl.
