  • FUCK ISLAM. Signed: THE USA

  • I thank God for Tony Blair and his commitment to the American defenses and all she would need to combat our common enemy.. please all those under the age of 2 , cut the crap.. go to bed and just SHUT UP already. I have HAD ENOUGH. The United States of America , MY country, YOUR ally was attacked, an act of war.. can you please please stop the conspiratorial nonsense My nation wept today. .. the wound never will heal.. but be assured we will be there for you if you need us.

  • @queenshussars oh just shut it. please.. SHUT IT

  • This mass terrorism is the new evil in our world today. It is perpetrated by fanatics who are utterly indifferent to the sanctity of human life and we, the democracies of this world, are going to have to come together to fight it together and eradicate this evil completely from our world.

    Beautiful.

  • shocking isn't it, the lengths Blair went to just to avoid giving a TUC speech.

  • giving me chills. cant believe its been 10 years

  • 9/11 isn't a conspiracy and bush didn't know, if you say he did or our own government did I think you should have been one of the people who died that day instead of all the innocent people who died, and who ever wants to argue with me about why u think its a conspiracy or wat ever is free to argue, cause I just want to prove how all the conspiracy theories can be proven wrong

  • @Halo4Lyf Bush knew about 9/11 attacks before it happened but choose to ignore it these are facts. he knew and been consantly told.about it but he chose to ignore all the warnings. 9/11 is an inside job look up the facts its out there to see. but the british media wont tell u this coz they not allowed. wake people. blair will be allowed to get away with it like bush and his people did. bush and his goverment recived 1.4 billion dollars from osama bin ladens family and other saudis. its a fact.

  • @Abuzwebstar Get off the computer. Those men in white coats are coming with your straight jacket and a teddy bear for you any minute now. Tomorrow you can come back and explain how Hitler, JFK, and Elvis are actually living on the space station and have formed a Doo-Wop group.

  • didnt anyone in the newsroom remember centre is british english and in america its center?

  • @oJKBo They said centre... Like it is in English. It's an English news channel, what's the problem?

  • @OTSTRETFORD in american english it's center. Because WTC was american it should have been center. Buildings are titled like 1 World Trade CentER and 2 World Trade CentER. World Trade Center is like the official name. If a British TV show was called: The Crisps Organisation Programme why would we call it: The Chips Organization Program?

  • @oJKBo I see what you're saying now... But I really don't think anyone will lose sleep over it.

  • That's a nice poem, my your son R.I.P.

  • I want to thank the British who have showed their support to us. Its the greatest feeling to know that not only do we have the greatest friends in the world, but that when we struck back on al-Qaeda, they got hit harder than they could ever imagine.

  • @jrd1921 No need to thank us,we always watch the backs of our friends,as do the Aussies,Canadians,etc...the question that is really starting to form in our minds though,is will our great friend who we have allied ourselves with many times, support us over the question of British sovereignty in the Falkland Islands? We have stood with you on many battlefields over the last few years, but will you turn your backs on us when we need the support?

  • @davyjones68 Americans as a whole support the UK and England on every field. Please don't let the recent actions of our oval office make you think we all feel that way. God Bless the UK and the USA

  • @MissWoodsCommaElle Thank you Miss Woods, most of us have the intelligence to understand how western politics work, and how what the U.S government says publicly is not always necessarily the reflection of the great citizens of your fantastic country, love and respect to you.

  • R.I.P. Anno

  • freemanson fucker shit

  • I've never felt closer to the rest of the world, as an American, than when watching 9/11 reactions from other countries. It's so touching and humbling.

  • @PennyJasper And it lasted a grand total of 6 weeks. Then it became clear we were actually going to fight back, and the cries of "imperialism" and "warmongering" commenced right on schedule.

  • I remember coming out of College on September 11th (uk) and seeing this on the television. My mother said "there must be hundreds dead". I replied "no... more like thousands..."

  • @keeperofthecheese By 'college,' do you mean what Americans would refer to as 'high school?'

    How did your classmates react?

  • @Halo4Lyf College? its kind of in between School and university. I cant really remember how my class mates reacted - I think there was a lot of talking about how to respond, and how Britain would play a part. I think the general consensus was that Bush would probably call on us as an "Ally" and, basically, force us into attacking Afghanistan. Which he did. Dont get me wrong, we were outraged and angry, but we have always felt slightly bitter about the way we were treated by America at that time

  • @keeperofthecheese You didn't HAVE to do anything. But if you want us to bleed for you, you've got to bleed for us.

  • this video ends at 9:59. thats when the first tower collapsed....

  • Very sorry about your son.

  • @nochebimbo your the typical 20 y.o. stupid school boy of the day. Go ;ive in iraq, where they kill little fags like you.

  • thanks to the britfags who helped us out with this. it may not see like it but you guys really helped us out then and continue to this day

  • @jubbaflubb2 brit fags?

  • the guy at 7:30 has the most amazing voice ever. i could listen to him talk all day.

  • I was four when the Twin Towers were attacted but I remember it so well.

  • i was only 4 when the twin towers where attacked

  • It's horrible what happend.

  • Was your son killed in the line of duty, or was his death unrelated to the War on Terror?

Either way, you have my condolences.

  • I would urge people to see how islamic terror is occurring on a daily basis and not just in countries where the USA is involved. Thailand is a major target as well. The Religion of Peace is the title of a website that documents the daily Islamic terror attacks. ( Terror attacks done in the name of Islam not simply by Muslims)

  • My heart goes out to you. May Anno continue to rest in peace.

  • i wonder if that day...EVERY tv channel had this on?

  • shaun3701 the impact of 7/7 is just as bad

  • condolences accepted.

    same for 7/7.

  • July 7, 2005, do you not remember.

  • that can hardly be compared to 9-11, nowhere near the number of casualties.

  • How about World War 2. That got enough civilian casualties caused by bombs for you?

    Twat.

  • Not even just bombs. Massacres, torture, and experiments by the Germans and Japanese killed over 40 million Russian and Chinese lives as well as many other countries at their hands.

  • I was actually responding specifically about British citizens. It was a response to shuam3701 when he said that we should get rid of muslims in Britain or we'll have our own 9/11 and then later said that 7/7 couldnt be compared to 9/11.

  • what you need to remember is that only 19 islamic terrorists commited 9/11 not many thousands of muslims.again you will fall into the stereotype hole.one christian commits murder..does that make all christians murderers??/get the point?????

  • I NEVER FELL IN TO ANY STEREOTYPE. I never accused Muslims of being murderers. Read my post again please or shut up and die.

  • you did!!we all do even me.its part of the human condition to be judgemental and prejudiced

  • Quote the bit of my post you are refering to.

  • The world was in a total state of warfare during that time, hence it being called World War II. You need to get your facts and terminology straight. The United States wasn't at war with anyone on 9/11. Al Qaeda purposely attacked a sovereign nation, and killed thousands of civilians. That's the difference.

  • You obviously dont know what you're talking about.

    And you're a complete cock.

  • Right, um this is why conspiracy theorists have about as much credibility as people who say they were abducted and raped by 10 foot tall aliens. May the shrink be with you....

  • Sorry, why are you talking about conspiracy theories?

  • Hiroshima...

  • but its the exact same ideology

  • A dear friend of mine was in the Coach-Car in the Tube on 7/7/05 and got off 1 stop before the bomb went off.

London has had it wake up call.

  • my friend it is the whole world that has had its wake up call.

  • @tphomer69 the planes aired by the network were FAKE??? people saw them hit in real life you son of a bitch. how could you claim something as stupid as that??

  • yes one thing bush did do very well after 9/11 was protecting american lives which he did and i thank him for that

  • yer but bush must of not care before the 9/11 so he thinks this is a chance 2 comeback hes a doush

    RIP ENGLAND

  • cant argue with you

  • so ur agreing with me

  • I still can't watch 9/11 footage.

  • Blair's statement was emotional and heartfelt, it actually brought tears to my eyes. Thank God there are human beings around the world who cried and grieved with us that day....

  • @timleery absolutely

  • Imagine all the people living life in peace.

  • Apologies for my outburst I want to say rest in peace to all innocents ruthlessly murdered that day. You will NEVER be forgotten and one day you WILL all be avenged, and the perpetrators will face justice

  • dude I'm sorry but you're fucking retarded I appreciate your apology because more than just Americans died but there is no conspiracy and I hope you have realized that and if it was heat of the moment I apologize for what I said but if you stick by what you said I stick by what I said

  • Sorry about your son.....

  • Awful day. God damn those people. And now Obama wants talks with them. For God's sake do not go down this path of appeasement America.

  • If you don't know what the defeniton of appeasement is, then don't fuckin use it.

Appeasement means to give things away, strike a deal. It doesn't mean to talk.

  • I'll ignore the face you swore at me and say that mine was not an anti-American comment or even anti-Obama, but you do not talk to these people. They cannot be reasoned with, they do want to co-exist with the west. To them we are, and will always be, infidels.

  • And the only remedy is good ol' American canned sunshine!

  • Things have changed in the UK. Geert banned from the UK for showing radical Islam in a not so great light; removing Churchill from school curriculum; loving up on all the Muslims invading the UK and burning the British flag. Wake up UK, I don't want to see the UK be attacked by terrorists like the USA. Democratic nations need to stick together and not become passive and stupid all for political correctness.

  • we're rolling out the red carpet here in the uk for the terrorists, at the expense of good willed british people of all races and religions. homegrown terrorism, lives off the land it hates so much (7/7/05). worse are the white do-gooders that sympathyse with them. what was the point in winning freedom over two world wars when we are being walked all over due to "political correctness". some may say the u.s have made mistakes, but at least they stand up for themselves in their own back yard.

  • @filmjoyce how the f*** do you remove Churchill from the school curriculum in the UK?? he's in the school curriculum in America!!!

  • @filmjoyce Grow up you bigoted prick, not all Muslims want to blow themselves up. Christianity has killed more people than Islam, why don't we all start hating Christians? Oh that's right, because they're the same colour as us... Stop spouting shit, just because a few let down the majority doesn't mean the majority are to blame.

  • @OTSTRETFORD "Christianity has killed more people than Islam," You've made a quantifiable statement, now you have to prove it.

    Go on, cite your sources.

  • @Halo4Lyf If you knew the slightest thing about history you would know that it's a fact. I will now make the statement 'cheese tastes more like cheese than chocolate does'. Do I need to cite my sources for that too?

  • @OTSTRETFORD As an actual history student who is one semester away from a bachelor degree in History, with a focus on the Middle East even, I can tell you you're full of shit.

If you're counting every murder ever committed by a nominally Christian person ever, then you're probably right, simply because Christianity has been around 600 years longer than Islam has. But if you're talking about explicitly religiously motivated violence? Islam has that award, hands down, no dispute.

  • @Halo4Lyf The total number of deaths estimated to Christianity is approximately 17 million. This is from adding death tolls of ancient wars, the Crusades, the Inquisitions, various European wars during the Middle Ages, and witchcraft trials (may have forgotten some so the number may be low) No clue about Islam though but 17 million is pretty high.

  • @GrimmsPendulum More died in China under Mao alone. I'm not impressed. 17 million spread out over 2,000 years of Church (meaning the world-wide body of Christians regardless of denomination) is pretty damned reserved. I wouldn't even call those killed during the Crusades as wrongful deaths, either, since the Crusades were a strategic counter-attack in response to 400 years of Muslim expansionism.

Not saying we're perfect, just better.

  • I'm sorry about your brother.

  • I don't think Bush is an idiot - he's just a rather inarticulate speaker and can seem a bit careless at times. A lot of his ideas and proposals haven't been put into action, not to mention the wars in the Middle East, make his terms seem like a useless administration. I think he would have turned out a much better president if past and current circumstances had never happened in the first place.

  • I agree man. I mean Bush was not even a year on office. And his Nation gets attacked. Bush was VERY patriotic. He served this country. He was filled with rage. I mean would any of use do any different than he did? no. I couldnt even imagine making tough Decisions like Bush did

  • He could have nuked em but he didn't. He kept his cool. 9/11 changed him as did our country. Protecting us became his first priority. And this he did well.

  • agreed

  • NO. He couldn't have nuked them. What world do you live in? If there were more clueless rightwingers in this country he could have.

  • Why couldn't we have nuked them? Seriously, what could've stopped us?

  • great words :)

  • I am not one of those Americans who blame Bush. I don't think he's an idiot. Maybe 70% of Americans think so but nobody is going to change my opinion. Even if the whole world hated Bush, I won't change my mind. Obama is going to be a better choice?

  • I'm getting a spark of racism. If I'm wrong then I apologize. You rather stick to the white guy who's dumb as fuck besides supporting the guy who wants to help change things for the better as a promise.

I don't really even like obama to be honestand to let you understand what grounds I'm on but, you thik that George is really a good president, seriously for real???..-.-

  • Typical outlash from the left. I predict anybody who criticizes Obama in anyway will be deemed a racist.

  • That's what makes him so awesome.

  • I think Blair meant to say that the world ought to send condolences to the American people that Bush is our President.

  • I remember this day 7 years ago, I was walking to school and heard all over the radio about this. I never knew what happend at the time as I was too young to think about it. Now that i've seen and read so much about this, it sickens me that a way to order a way of defeat was to kill 1000's of innocent people. Living here in America after this has been tough, Airport security is so heavily guarded. Everything has changed. Bless the US and UK againsed terrorism.

  • Maybe Iraq was a mistake (maybe not) but Britain was 100% right to support the USA after it was attacked. There was massive anger after 9/11 here in the UK. People here felt like a friend had been brutally assaulted.

  • @laurenticwave In now way is the senseless slaughter of civilians "reaping what we had sowed".

  • @laurenticwave Innocent people, who have no affiliation with the government's action, "reaped what they sowed"? Innocent people deserved to die because of our government isn't the best? Wow.

  • @laurenticwave I really want to be keep being angry with you, but I'm too busy laughing at that last sentence. ;D

  • @laurenticwave what's worse is when a people are blamed for a government they DIDN'T elect (such as a monarchy or dictatorship)

  • @laurenticwave but America didn't reap what it sowed at all. not even the govt

  • @laurenticwave

If you are aluding to the US govt's support for Israel...you should keep in mind that Israel was a creation of the Ottoman, German Govt., British Govt. and the French Govt....

The US Govt. wasn't really involved in the creation of Israel. And until 1967 Israel received most of its military hardware from France and Czechoslovakia and most of its financial aid in the form of German holocaust reparations.

The US Govt. has discouraged the building of settlements in W.B.

  • I agree, I really thank Britain for supporting us in the War On Terrisom. Without you I don't know what we do.

  • @ConnorlBurnett Australia also assists you in the War On Terror.

  • Right or wrong, we may disagree with our governments and adminstrations in the UK and the USA, but we must stand united. There is no stronger alliance, and has not been since world war II that the UK and the USA. God save the Queen. (Bush can go fuck himself) I'm an American BTW.

  • @BRIGSTOCK I am with you 100 percent! I am glad that the U.K. supported the U.S.A.! I am proud to be an American!

  • @BRIGSTOCK we are all affected by terrorists. the UK, US, Spain, Russia...we are all victims of the cowardly terrorists. and instead of negative comments, we should stand together and say Fuck you to all those terrorist motherfuckers out there. we still get on with our lives and if you fuck with us again, start begging to allah that those virgins are not men

  • @chillaxer1993 islam is a sham. muslims know it. They know that 40 virgin shit is a fantasy too. Why would they pray to their fake god?

  • the war that followed the 9/11 attacks was 100% totally justified! what the hell was america supposed to do? just sit back and let more planes fly into buildings, how DARE anybody say that they were wrong! it really sickens me that people wrap themselves up in their hatred of america so much that it blinds there sense of humanity.

  • The "war" against the Taliban may have been justified, but Saddam and Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11!

  • btw, I truly love America, in the way Walt Whitman loved America, which is why one gets so angry to see it led by an ignoramus like Bush.

  • About 70-100 percent of Americans think Bush is a complete idiot.

  • I think is is a moron!

  • I think he was a great president. So STFU.

  • i didnt mention iraq, i said the war that followed 9/11 which was in afghanistan, why mention iraq?? iraq and saddam is a different kettle of fish? why mention that when we're talking about 9/11?

  • Because your original comment was ambiguous: most people assume "the war that followed the 9/11 attacks" to mean strikes against Iraq as well as Afghanistan - although the ordinary Afghans hardly deserved to be punished for the sins of the Taliban - it's not as if they voted them into power.

  • the ordinary people of USAdid not deserve to have planes flown into buildings either?! and referring to a comment you made, 'reaping what she had sowed'? correct me if im wrong does that mean in some way you're saying that it was justified? because i must admit the only people i heard say anything remotely to that affect were muslims any human being with a heart and soul would have been utterly horrified that day and those thoughts should not have entered any sane moral persons head

  • @laurenticwave you nailed it on the head, we can all thank Bush for the Iraq qar

  • @Erlenbachc Actually, we need to thank Clinton for the Iraqui portion of the war in the middle east. We can thank President Bush for the very successful outcome that we've seen. Now the idiot we have for president right now? Please God, send us another Ronald Reagan, to get us out of this mess just like you did after the lamb Duck Carter years!!!!

  • People keep saying Blair's big mistake was to commit British support for the war. He did so immediately following the attacks, pledging support in our actions. Whether or not that was a mistake, I can't judge... HOWEVER... if you were in America that day, you probably know that almost ALL Americans wanted to march to war to avenge this tragedy. support only fell away as time went on.

  • They wanted to march to Afghanistan, not Iraq

  • everyone that was on our local news (D.C., aka next to the Pentagon) said to get whoever was behind this. it's a war on terror - and terrorists aren't confined to afghanistan. they're all over. and we've caught a heck of a lot of terrorists in iraq.

  • As an American, I would like to offer our deepest apologies to the people of Great Britain and the United Kingdom ob Behalf of the US in saying that we are sorry for our IDIOT leader, and even electing him. We are sorry for leading you into wars that you do not want to be in and sorry for the troubles that we have caused you.

  • That's very generous of you! By the same token, perhaps we should apologise to the US for dragging her into World War One, when Wilson had done his utmost to stay out, favouring instead the setting up of a League of Nations.....

  • america did not cause us anything ISLAM and the evils that follow it are to blame! america had no choice and the UK were right to back them!

  • Tony Blair was great..Its sad the English supported Bush over him. Tony was OBVIOUSLY responsible for KEEPING WORLD PEACE.. 2 bad the English didnt see that...

  • ...Anyway Bush is a complete cunt. He's the worse thing to happen to America...Well, ever!

  • Tony was doing fine... His one big fuck up was to follow Bush into this phoney war on terror/pointless Iraq war. The people didn't want it, because it was obviously gonna be like it is now... We were right!... The French were right, now thats not something you hear every day.

  • YES YES You are correct most of the US supported Tony Blair Unfourtunatly he supported Bush.. I think as most Americans think he is a great man and it is terrible that he got caught up in the Bush admin...but he really didnt have choice

  • um horsehit...plenty of sections of American history went longer without an attack...

  • to bad the brits are just like american's....cant stand the news, Grow a backbone. You had the best prime minister in decades but you forced him out.

  • Yeah, no shit. Poor Tony Blair. He did a good job.

  • Thanks for posting this bit of history. It must have been difficult to do so.
