I love this level, very original and well done. Thats why the PS version is much better, this doesnt exist on PC vers

First time I played this episode, I was creeped to death. I was 9 years old though. I bought the XBLA version of Duke, just to se i I could meet my Doom, yeah well, despite no Plug and Pray episode, This game still scares me and I'm 21.

The level is creepy. When I played it, I kept thinking some Norman Bates look-a-like was gonna stab me from behind. The music seems to make me think of that.

Dude, I just got this game in the mail a week ago, Plug and Pray on the "Come get some" difficulty is so damn hard!! This is normally due to the extreme lack of ammo and the insane amount of enemies. Duke Royale, and Alien Rendezvous was ridiculus......

But hell.....I loved the Kickass Challenge!!!!!

Youre spot on. With games like Doom they just recycled the same textures from level to level, but this level was specially designed to feel stand alone from the others. I just cannot believe how one single level from an action game can give you such a creeping sense of dread throughout, and its all down to that music, it makes you feel like youre being watched and followed...

Actually when youre in that room, you can see puke splattered up the walls and on the bed, I figure its probably meant to be the girl from the exorcist

Its is...and if you carefully pay attention to the "Duke Royal" level, is almost an exact depiction of the "Pulp Fiction" movie. The white building is where Vincent meets his bosses wife, the small apartment next to it is where Bruce Willis kills Vincent, (the bathroom being right across from the toaster with the enforcer in it). The gunshop...especially the basement area is where Marcelous ws raped...and the one pig that appears outside is supposed to represent "Zed".

Something you may have missed, is the gimp costume hanging in the basement of the gun shop - another nod to the movie :-)
