There is some great Pokemon to catch for the E4 such as lvl 36 Onixs who can evolve into Steelix with Metal coat. Ursaring can become strong as hell with Guts or somewhere fast with Quick feet. In Mt mortar, there is lvl 32 Machoke so you know ... With surf you can find lvlv 35 Tentacruel near New BarkTown, in remember of your trolltacruel. I'm not sure if Wobuffet can be useful here.
I've got a Choice Scarf from mom's shopping, so I'm really considering a Guts Raticate, of all things (it's not as much of a tank as Ursaring, but it's way faster).
But yeah, I've got plenty of options available so maybe evolving Graveler and Machoke isn't terribly necessary. All Machamp is useful for is, what, getting rid of that annoying Umbreon? I'm sure somebody else can deal with that and much more.
@MoogleBoss I've totally forgot about Raticate, such as Ursaring, he can use Facade wich can reach a power of 210 with STAB if he is statuted. This + the attack boost provided by Guts, Raticate is a force to take in account. It's funny to see that Koga's team does absolutely nothing to a Steelix.
If you get WSoD (White Screen of Death), I usually go to 'Config' and choose 'Display Method', then choose DirectDraw SW. Works every single time for me.
Also, look for a cheat that allows you to turn one Pokémon into another. Or you hack the game and make Graveler/Machoke evolve by an Evolution Stone you can spare.
Followed your advice and used a Gen4 Evolution Editor to make Graveler evolve by Thunderstone. Opened the game, chose a Thunderstone from the menu - no effect. Oh well, let's google for more.

( I can even though I would need someone .. then again I need to find it) but I don't know if you have to do other things such as resetting to get better stats? ( forgot if evolution changes stats that much)
Well, evolving a Pokemon doesn't change its IVs, only the bases. And I'd rather find a way to do it on my own PC than have people do raw trading with actual consoles.
Somebody suggested pokesav, with which I've had no prior experience, but it doesn't want to accept my save. I dunno if I need to convert it for that, haven't made the research on that yet.
@MoogleBoss PokeSav huh. I might be wrong but I don't think it changes the stats if you change the pokemon :/ So having a Golem or Machamp with the same stats as their previous evolutions ... isn't gonna change much ( like I said I might be wrong)

I remember hearing something about connecting to wi-fi through Desmume but I have no idea if that was blocked or fixed so you can try that if it works?

Just found some topics on ngemu about trade evolving by googling, so let's see if that works. I'm positive people are aware of some easy ways of evolving those Pokemon in gen 4 games by now.
I converted to a format named M3, which made it editable with pokesav, but like cybermega said, changing the species from Graveler to Golem just changed the Pokemon without changing the stats. Not sure if there is something I'm not doing right.
@MoogleBoss Oh mine, I'm not sure if we're using the same version of Pokèsav then, cause in my version you only have to go to "stats edit" and edit them from there, it's in the upper left corner, but of course you have to manually adjust them. Sry if cant't help :(

@MoogleBoss you need to convert your save file using No$GBAtoVBA to make it editable by pokesav, and after your done editing just convert it back :)
