maybe all the compression that this video went through made the audio so that you couldn't hear the guitar at the beginning.. maybe it was so soft at a frequency range that didn't do so well when uploading the video etc... just throwing that out there, i could be wrong..

I love how your all bitching about someone needing to be fired when even Dustin screwed up the opening line. Have you ever tried to mix an outdoor stage so big? I agree, the bass is too loud, the guitars are miked, the bass is DI'd (Direct input) as well as being miked and compressed. Live, the bass wouldn't sound like this, The sound guy would have been pushing for more low end. recorded it's different. It's alot easier said than done believe me. Get over it, it's fine!!!

@pezzcunt any engineer should have been able to hear the guitars weren't loud enough if we can hear it on a video. if you cant hear one thing, bring everything else down, and if its not loud enough, push up the master.

I LOVE Thrice, however, the bass does overpower the guitars. I play both and as a bass player I love to actually be heard, but the guitars need to be louder. They have damn Mesa/Boogie rectifiers, use em man! I'd kill for one.

Actually Alto is not even a classification for Female voice (if you want to get super technical), their classifyesd as Mezzo Soprano. However High tenors are never called Alto's thier simply called 1st tenors
