  • nice there! :)

  • i would like to share that if you use Jiffy boxes and break up the soil instead of sticking the seed in the little circles, you can get any seeds that take 1 week, they will grow about 5 inches overnight. Also, the soil allows for the plants to be easily pulled out. The jiffy is amazing. Me and my friend did this with Cherry Tomato seeds and they grew 10 inches in 2 days. Then we HAD to plant them.

P.S. im only 13 and my friend is 12. P.S.S. You need a Heat Lamp

  • Thanks so much for the tip!

  • you are very welcome.

  • Excellent video that was most helpful! I think I will try this with an plastic egg carton. with a pool of water below.

  • Let me know how that turns out!

  • Can we use Ice trays? pierce a hole in the bottom for drainage, and cover with Clear wrap? it may work..

  • Anything that will hold soil and allow for drainage will work. Good thought!

  • this is really cool, i plan to do this with hot peppers.

  • Thanks for the comment. Please let me know how they turn out!

  • @DanOManno i might not remember to let you know, message me in a few months and ill send you a message.

  • Will do! Thx

  • Weather permitting, I generally like to transplant seedlings as soon as they develop their first true leaves. Make sure, however, to harden them off before committing them to the garden. Thanks for your comment.

  • how long could you leave them under lights untill you take outside

  • You can leave them under lights for as long as it takes for conditions to improve, but as soon as the weather warms and the threat of freezing is no longer a concern, it's a great idea to get them into the garden. Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you and thanks for you comment.

  • Thanks for the video!
