I wish Capcom released R.E. 1.5 finally! It's 15th anniversary after all! It would be the greatest present for all old-time fans of the game around the world, especially for those who have been playing it since 1996, with the original Resident Evil. Besides classic-looking parts 1,2,3 and I guess Code Veronica are way better than parts 4,5 in my opinion and can be considered to be the diamonds of the entire collection.

@nsjsjsjsd because they werent happy with the end product, after the development reached 80% they started all over again which was a big risk considering the game was reaching its deadline. i know its a shame they cancelled; it would have made a good spin off game by itself, but hey thats games for ya, just like 3.5 (the prototype for Resi 4) and the N64 version of Resi 0 (which was cancelled half way through with the release of the Gamecube)

The police station looked way more realistic. I also liked how the alot of the police station is dark and powered down. Perhaps one day corporate Capcom will release it.

What's weird is that the William G1 used in the actual 1.5 is not the same William G1 shown in the official 1.5 artwork (the one shown in the artwork was awesome).

No Sean, It means it was 80% developed, they probably had put some cutscenes in or something like that, It wouldn't reach some certain mark and just crash, you probably couldn't play it fully, it would probably be like chapters 1-4 6-end kind of thing (example there, it wasn't like that lulz) It was probably like a half completed demo

This version sucked. The music especially. The music in RE2 was amazing in this its balls. The police station does look more realistic but its boring. Re2 had lots of intresting areas this had like 1 or 2 and the others were actually in the game anyway they just like reskinned them. RE2 was the best resident evil in my opinion so im glad they ditched this crap.

in my honest opinion this place looks more like a police station compared to the police mansion we were given as the end result in this game. I don't care what people think it was dorky and I felt it ruined the whole "urban" atmosphere of the game. They could of easily added lickers and all their monsters to this. Maybe remodel the "urban" building a bit more to make it more vast ect but I thought this looked like a police station..

apparently the designers didn't like it... maybe some new things were being released that'd make BH2 out-of-date when it reaches the shelf.

All I know is that they didn't like it and started and developed it again from scrach.

I don't see why they were dissatisfied though, most of the things removed were incorporated into other games anyway.. ie. the big ape became the Eliminator.

Which is why they scrapped this concept, and contracted a TV writer named Noboru Sugimura to give birth to one of the greatest story canons in videogame history! (Seriously, Sugimura was the true genius behind the direction of the RE/BH series.) RIP Sugimura.
