subhanallah, my own experiences since practicing Islam validate what brother Nouman says. believe me brothers, honour and respect and dignity only came to me when i grew my beard and prayed 5 times a day despite being in a non Muslim environment.when i stuck to my religion and did not apologise for my beliefs. when i did compromise my religion to "fit in". i am glad brother Nouman has articulated it so well.
