Halo 3 had relatively few glitches, a MUCH better hit box, FARRR superior maps, better physics and more balanced gameplay. Halo 1 blew 2 out the water, and three was the best by a long shot. Personal opinion of course.

Besides, you could easily counter BXR by engaging the enemies long range, and a good strafe always beat double shotting. Also, the elite has a smaller hitbox than a spartan in H3, which is ironic. It's why nearly everyone in level 20+ SWAT was an elite.

CE had a really bad bullet registration system that sometimes made for frustrating gameplay, I never really played H2 that much but Coagulation is overused so much, H3 lags badly, has a bad (not as bad as CE) bullet registration system, and the AR annoys me. I bet if I played H2 more back when you could play it online that game would have been my favorite though.

The graphics and hit box/bullet reg are better, but thats just cause its a newer game.

All halo games had their share of children and tryhards, especially H3. Honestly most of your issues with Reach go away when you play Anniversary classic or MLG. Besides that I really like sprint/evade but dislike the other armor abilities. You have to admit jetpack is the most balanced though.

Everybody had the same gun and moved at the same speed, it was just about who was better.

How does that make for balance? Bullets can easily not register because the netcode is terrible with the way the bullets work. CE > 2 > 3.
