I nearly died once at one of his shows, you know that silent laughter with tears streaming down your face and you cant breathe and all you can hear is him talking about his Granny, Garry Glitter, the moon, the Garda, drugs etc.? The best I`v seen live, easily.
His "Death" is the joke!!!.....like the gig kinda sucked!!....but if ya tune in to his poetry and voice you'll laugh loadly at his descriptions and play with word association and egocentric meaning! Kevin is one of the funniest story tellers in the universe!

I was walkin down the street there this afternoon and gibble gobble erble onto me blah blah smile ah hahaha...... mumble bumble erble berble ha ha, bibble how'd he know that blablabla mrs. Harper... blah blah motorbike case ah ha ha ha....... Well, sounds like the audience are enjoying it anyway!!!!
For the record: Kevin McAleer is a big fan of the artist Sean Hillen - he's speaking at an opening of Sean's new 'post-9/11' collages at the Gallery of Photography in Temple Bar.
