  • its not nash , nash started basketball in college .

  • @iAmYoutubie lololololol. Nash went to St. Michaels High School in Victoria, BC Where he most certainly played basketball. Won the provincial title and was MVP his senior year. Would play pickup with the guys from UVic.

  • those backboards are tiny!

  • im not wearing that kind of shorts to play basketball

  • This music makes me feel like I'm in a cave in Final Fantasy 3.

  • because he's white, you asume its steve nash???

    nice assumption

  • its just white folks

  • lol i know nash is old. But I don't think he's THAT old lol.

  • WHO IS THIS PLAYER??

  • This isn't Nash, but this guy is actually pretty good.

  • all shit moves are the same his shot just changed cause his back is messed up

  • the bgm sounds like the pokemon game ,,,,,,,

  • lol 616 likes and 161 dislikes......

  • its steve hash!

  • thats manu ginobili. jus kiddin, thats damon "the dragon" dragotis

  • This isn't steve nash. He studied at St. Michaels University School, and you can see the floor showed "St PAUL" and "minnesota high school" on the circle in the middle of the court. And, it just happened that there's a "st paul high school" in minnesota. So, I think it's very obvious that the guy was not nash,ok.

  • thats not nash? thats not even his jumpshot

  • @808bayside do you maybe think that he changed sence highschool dumb ass............. im not saying that is him though

  • @WWEpro2013 a jump shot cant change that drastically

  • @808bayside yeah hes been in the nba for over 10 years and this is high school he could of had a totally different shot back then

  • @WWEpro2013

"yeah hes been in the nba for over 10 years and this is high school he could of had a totally different shot back then"

Here's a crazy idea. Maybe Steve Nash was not the only white guy who was good at basketball in high school?

  • @808bayside actually a jump shot really can...a lot of players were forced to change the way they shoot when they hit college because some coaches think they know the best way for you to shoot

  • @808bayside that layup at 0:27 was definately nash....his jump shot could have changed due to coaching

  • @GeniusSelfproclaimed

    Dear Genius,

It's definitely not Nash and you definitely spelled definitely wrong.

  • @reddwarfposse oh no it's youtube, not a fucking book.

  • @808bayside Shooting style can change drastically through the years...

  • thumbs up if u think this music is creepy !!!

  • That is not his shot.

  • Holy SHIT, Everybodys WHITE!

  • Nash played his entire high school basketball at St. Michaels in his home town of Victoria Canada. Theres no St. Pauls ( written on the floor in every scene) in the province let alone the city. That aint him.

  • if this isnt steve nash, then who is this guy with skill?

  • 2:12,white kid think he got bounce

  • 1:15 closest steve nash has ever gotten to dunking

  • @SweetBrothaSouL idk if you noticed but Stevie can dunk

  • I have as many rings as Steve Nash

  • @Synicaalescape

Yes, but how many NBA MVP awards do you have? :)

Plus, his Youtube channel is funny as hell.

  • @reddwarfposse LOL true.

  • 1) Did Steve play HS in Canada? For some reason I just thought he played prep ball in the states. But the backboards and opposing team with the immaculatta gear make me think otherwise. 2) Is there a no dunking rule? Cause on a nasty dish by Steve around 1:35 dude clearly looked about to throw it down but instead threw up a bank shot. Even Steve looked like he was going to dunk early on but turned it into a pretty finger role.

  • @CNOTEakaCash

    1) Yes, Steve Nash is Canadian.

    2) The guy in this video is not Steve Nash.

  • @reddwarfposse Yeah already knew he was Canadian, actual technically he is South African, but anyway just off hand I didn't remember if he played ball in Canada or Prep ball in the states. Looking at it again though you are probably right. The court and video looks maybe 5 years too old to be when Nash would have been in high school.

  • where are the black dudes!!!

  • I love how he looks like hes gonna dunk, then lays it up ever so soflty

  • great highlights. As for the music, it nearly bored me to sleep

  • wtf is with those backboards

  • 0:56 #12 was wide open what a ball hog

  • this aint nash but this dude has skill for sure

  • This is steve nash?? wth, dont look like him, is he that old? this footage and the shorts they have on looks like the 80's

  • @vicmason25

It's clearly not Steve Nash. Whoever posted this video must be laughing his ass off at the number of people who are convinced this is Nash based solely on the title. The uploader basically punked almost 3/4 of a million people.

  • must be Canada. look at all the white players

  • @eriatarkamv

Only if Minnesota was part of Canada when Nash was in high school.

  • @TrendSetterNick@bmoffitt...they dont need a big backboard...whiteboys arent going to tear it down

  • all of you are idiots. its not even steve nash. its just some old ass video clip of some scrub white boys in america

  • @panda2121

You're right, it's not Steve Nash. However, the guy in this video is damn good.

  • @panda2121 WE ARE IDIOTS... but i knew it was wierd that the player was taking so many shots. and the type os shots. that steve nash doesn't realy take

  • Look At The backBoard !

  • look how small the back board is

  • steve nash is amazing... but these guys suck!

  • everyone is white

  • this clip has the potential capabilities of being a hypnotizing video... with Nash's brilliance in basketball combining with the creepy yet chilling music, this is the 7th time I've rewatched this...

  • @TheOresteia1992 its not steve nash bruh

  • Amazing

  • god damn this is so old the back board is not square.

  • @TBeast247 naww the school wasn't rich enough to get a decent size backboard

  • He traveled alot

  • That would be funny as fuck if the guy missed at 1:39 LOL

  • y the fuck is every move slowed down?

  • @reddwarfposse that is exactly what i said, by the time you were finishing up your high school ball many gyms were trying out these types of backboards which were supposedly "shatter resistant." people (like yourself, clearly) didnt like the look of them so they were adapted into what is now the modern day backboard. And about the three point line, i literally dont know what video you're watching because it's there the whole time. i'd really like to hear what you have to say about that.

  • @behaggert

And I can't wait to hear your creative excuse for why the three point line is clearly longer then 19' 9" (which became the official length of the college and high school three point line in the mid 80's).

I'm done arguing. You're probably just a kid whose basketball experience is limited to playing NBA Jam with your friends after school. If you are actually an adult, then it's clear you have never set foot on a real court. Take care.

  • @reddwarfposse that's completely not true about the backboards, thats actually MORE what they would be like in the early 90's because companies were trying out shatter resistant glass and thats what they first looked like. plus, who cares what the guy calls nash, he can say whatever he wants. and about how he plays, the guy in the video epitomizes nash's creativity and ability to see every man on the floor. And if you know anything about nash you'd know that dick davies changed his shot at SC

  • @behaggert

I played high school basketball in the early 90's. Even the small towns in my league had square backboards by the early 90's. And where is the THREE POINT LINE? Do you really think Steve Nash's team traveled almost 1500 miles to play in the only gym in America that didn't have a 19' 9" foot three point line?

  • Comment removed

  • @reddwarfposse its great that out of all the obvious clues i gave as to why this is steve nash, you try to pick out one thing and take it out of context. smart. and if you know anything about basketball, you'd understand that when you lead your team to the BC provincial title, and your the province's player of the year, your team is gonna be invited to play in many different places. maybe you should just try to use some logic buddy.

  • @behaggert

Look at the backboards! No gym from the early 90's had backboards that small, especially not a big arena in a big city like St. Paul, Minnesota. Look at the start of the video. Steve Nash was never nicknamed "The Dragon." Finally, look at the player. This guy plays nothing like Steve Nash. He jumps straight up when shooting instead of falling away like Nash does. Anyone who actually knows how to play basketball can tell instantly that this isn't Nash.

  • that's probably why he went to santa clara, schools like duke and unc would've even look at these games cuz there's no black people

  • man does anyone notice the fucked up baskets there not even right

  • this video reminds me just how old this guy is.

  • that dunk was sick !!!

  • Steve Nash ballhigs lol

  • What's wrong with the wide open man at 0:54?

  • Look at how small the backBoard is.

  • he looks hecka like pistol pete

  • Muted

  • to bad this isnt steve nash

  • "theyre gonna luv dat shot in phoenix"

  • WTFs up wid da hoops

  • Comment removed

  • @niggaweez45 find me another insane player with those skills who wore number 10 (which i know he did) in that time period. plus, i could almost make out st. michaels on the jersey. and i also hope you realize that school colors change over 20 years. and everyone on his team is white, and thats not uncommon for team from victoria, bc. do some research

  • @behaggert

I love the guy who insists that this is Steve Nash because "i could almost make out st. michaels on the jersey."

Maybe instead of looking so hard at the jersey, you should look at the court and ask yourself why Steve Nash is playing high school basketball in St. Paul, Minnesota.

  • This definatly isn't steve nash, he played for st. michaels university school and they don't even have yellow in their colors.

  • @niggaweez45 the video obviously says "high school"

  • With this music, the Video seems to be a strange dream from the past....but i like it. Good Work!

  • those backboards hahahahha!

  • i like the part where he puts the ball in the basket

  • the music is really weird...

  • rockin the short shorts

  • where did you get that music? it makes me stoned

  • their courts look like my elementary school courts

  • why was the three point line invented? so white people can have a chance.

  • rounded backboards look weird on a real court

  • my favorite play is 1:21

  • @KingAlex6 mine too

  • toooooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooooooooow !!!!!!!!

  • nice shorts and backboard 1989

  • this music is creepy as shit

  • @nikitheferret and the short shorts aren't?..lmao

  • @nikitheferret i dont find shit that creepy,

    more disgusting than creepy

  • @leeph I don't find you that funny,

    more annoying than funny

  • What's with the shorts? Steve Nash can't be that old.

  • @lightblueambiguity Of course he is..He was already in the NBA going against Jordan, Kidd and etc, that was when they had very short shorts..lol..

  • 2:08 tea bag.

  • Nash was wack back then, but great fundamentals lmao

  • @Anono7777 your moms wack

  • wats with all the white people!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Rav3nsrock81 its called canadian basketball haha (btw this is coming from someone who played high school ball in the same city nash did)

  • @Rav3nsrock81 This may come as a surprise to those who dont get out much but...most of the country's high schools have few blacks in them. And aside from stereotypes you often find that those three or four blacks dont always play basketball. 12 million blacks in the US. 400 million people.

  • @Rav3nsrock81 thats basketball in canada for ya

  • Any1 notice the backboard? Weird shape

  • @Creepy944 indeed!

  • @Creepy944 He played in Canada before the NBA, that was regulation hoops in Canada.

  • thats jj barea

  • i would say this is a nice vid but its all in slow motion and has elevator music in the backround

  • Texas is watching this!

  • old school back boards and an nba 3 point line ftw

  • the lenghth of those shorts is makin me wonder how old steve nash is (:

  • Newsflash: the court says "St. Paul" and "Minnesota" (at center court). Not Canada.

  • Comment removed

  • @LibertySmokeShop2011 its canada

  • @LibertySmokeShop2011 this is canada high school basketball

  • @LibertySmokeShop2011 Haha that's funny.

  • @LibertySmokeShop2011 is it legal to spell without, without a "H"?

  • @LibertySmokeShop2011

Well, this game has no black people because in canada slaves were not utilized as they were in the united states, thus a smaller black population.

  • @LibertySmokeShop2011 in canada it is!

  • The Dragon? lol

  • wow the basketball hoops were weird

  • The blue team forgot to take off their warm-ups, but uhh, if this really is Steve Nash, its kind of funny how back then he used to play in slow motion and now he's with the run and gun suns...

  • best canadian basketball player...

  • Look at the backboards in Canada. Lol.

  • That is not Steve Nash. I watchedhim play in high school. He is short, but not that short. The arena is way bigger than anything he played in during high school.
