Katharine lived in my home state of Connecticut in a lovely home on the shore on Long Island Sound where she eventually died. Her family had owned and lived in that house for many years. Since her death, the home has been renovated and is for sale for 28 Million Dollars.
I don't think Kate died in this house but in the family home in Fenwick, Connecticut, about 3 hours drive away. She lived above during the week and then drove to Fenwick at weekends. I think she sold the New York townhouse in the mid 90s as it must have been too much to keep travelling back and forth.
@julieandrews9 No, unfortunatly we didn't get to go inside... The house is empty at the moment, and put up for rent.. But I think very few people can afford renting that place.. hehe.. But just standning there infront of it was amazing!! Just to think that she spend most of her life right there sent chills down my spine!! :D
