I'm playing "The World Ends With You" just to understand the backstory of the characters. I am really liking the game so far! Rhyme is my favorite character :D It's awesome that they're appearing. To be honest, Final Fantasy characters kinda got old for me. TWEWY characters add some variety, and at least it'll make the appearance of FF characters in the next game (which'll probably happen) more refreshing.
Number 1 problem with this new game, have to buy another freaking gaming system. When it proboly does come out, im proboly still not going to have the system....
Kingdom Hearts Fans like me are following for a lot of fucking years ! but why do they create all these games on different consoles -.- I mean , fuck off ! You´ll get enough money anyway ! @firered1207 birth by sleep was possibly the most important game in the series to date. It shows the origin of Xehanort, the main villain of the entire series, as well as how many members of the organization came to be. I'm sorry you feel the way you do, you aren't a real fan. Like MizuMikomi said, every game in Kingdom Hearts is relevant to the plot, there are NO spin-offs
King Mickey and Yen Sid prepare for an impending threat by putting Sora and Riku through the Mark of Mastery exam. Sora and Riku are sent into the Sleeping Worlds, where they will face enemies and allies that have never been seen before. If they can successfully complete the task they are given, they will be deemed true Keyblade Masters. That's the games story!

@natanaru Yes but that is a very long time. By the time Versus is released the PS4 will be announced and they will have to switch their development focus for the PS4 and i HOPE that it is PS4 exclusive. That would make up for them doing this very messy job of releasing key games on Nintendo platforms. The story is too tangled up to become multiplatform with the Xbox at this stage though. I hope its PS4 exclusive so they put as much focus as all previous PS releases.
@Hfajardo97 has it been comfirmed that the ps4 is coming out in the near future(aka next few years) ? i hadnt heard anything about that at all O.O . and yes i agree multiplatform games are normaly terrible because the ps3 gets the short end of the stick on the grafical side. @baglepants Word of God says that because Sora and Riku are effectively self-taught, they learned a lot of 'bad habits' with using the Keyblade that they need to un-learn, so they're effectively Reset Button'd inside the World of Sleep in order for them to learn the correct 'techniques' or something. If they can rescue the heart buried in this world (Ven, I think they even explicitly stated) they'll have learned enough, since that's what's required to be able to do that. SO they pass
@AyakoTheKid People really don't get that the KH team and Nomura are both working on Versus XIII right now, do they? Be happy we are even getting KH games right now, plus this game's story leads straight into KH3's plot according to Nomura.
So it's just as important as BbS or the numbered titles.
It seems like Square Enix is avoiding releasing their KH series on the "big" consoles, on purpose... Perhaps cause the new consoles are so complicated, whereas the comapny wants to keep the graphics simple and colorful... I don't know. This would be a nice game to see on another console tho...

Kingdom Hearts ruins Final Fantasy.. imo. because they put way to much disney in it and hardly any final fantasy. riku looks like he's gay. sora looks weird. make kingdom hearts 3 and not all these stupid side stories...the guy who made kh doesnt wanna make it bc he's working on better games like ff13-2 and ff 13 versus. so he probably has like no time for any kh game =)
@FinalFantasyLuvr2244 Nomura is busy with other games, and has stated how much he would LIKE to work on Kh3, and how much Disney and Square Enix think it's time for KH3. But he and the main KH team are busy with Versus XIII.
These aren't side games, nothing in KH is a spin off. It all has relevance to the plot, and helps to paint the bigger picture. This game is said to lead straight into KH3 plot-wise, so it's not a "side story" nor was BbS.
@MizuMikomi I agree with you on the BbS sleep not being a side story, but I can say that 358/2 and Coded were really side stories. they gave some good back stories, but other then that they didn't add much to the story.
@MizuMikomi Yeah and that is what sucks so much about it. WHY would you release something that is integral to the plot in so many platforms? To fully comprehend the KH story i would have to own a PS2, DS, PSP and 3DS along with the GBA for those that didn't wait for the remake on the PS2 and bought it for that platform. That is very unprofessional and sloppy work. I'm glad CoM was so important that they remade it for the PS2, they should do that with BBS and this game.
@MizuMikomi yeah bbs explained about the mark of mastery and how sora riku and Kari were able to wield the keyblades. it also told us about some of the members of organizations 13's backgrounds and how castle oblivion came to be. It was a very sad game like crisis core
Here's my suggestion to Square, nix the Final Fantasy cameos, kill off the Disney characters, keep the storyline, and there you have it. A game that is actually memorable. But it's a bit late for that. Everything that you fan-tards are getting are just afterthoughts. Even the sequel was an afterthought, and fuck, even the GAME BOY game was just a rehash of the original story with different gameplay. I have played all KH the games, and quite frankly, I'm sick of em.
@princesssk8tr i don't think thats the whole point, it may just be me, but when riku showed up in the trailer he looked sort of like ansem, so this game may also include something about the darkness in riku's heart( because in kh com ansem said he would remain a part of riku and someday return), then again this is just a theory.

@finalkamehameha1 The last thing I was trying to do was take away from how amazing the first one was, but I found the music in the second to be a step up from the first and it was also much more dark and mysterious which made it more inspiring to me. It's true that the second was far too easy and the first one was obviously incredibly unique but they expanded the storyline in a tremendous way in the second. It was also much more mature.

I like them all, but I have to say either BBS or 358/2, because BBS (in a way) gives the background of Organization 13 and in 358/2 you are part of Organization 13, but I love all of them. Recoded is prety bad, but it is interesting to me. I think that they should make KH into a TV show because you can do so many different things with it. I wish that BBS could be for other platforms because I don't have a PSP, so I can't play it.

Since I don't have BBS, I am watching the entire walkthrough of it!!! My friends and I are cosplaying as Xion, Axel, and Roxas.
Square needs to remake KH:FM, just remaster it, and change all subs to eng. And also add more content like 720P HD. I would buy KH:FM in a heartbeat. I played KH2:FM+ it was okay but Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix I've have never played.

Best side game was Birth By Sleep. It was a main game and was FUCKING AMAZING. I liked it much better than 2. But Still the first one is my alltime favorite. Infact I'm getting a new ps2 and NEW KH1 copy so I can play it. But also I might get a 3ds. KH1 was amazing. I hope they make aHD collection with Final Mixes in ENGLISH! Remastered for PS3 even if it didn't have final mix I will get a copy and NEVER open it. They should make it for PS3 and that's that. I would hate to see it on Wii or 360.

@natanaru Yes but that is a very long time. By the time Versus is released the PS4 will be announced and they will have to switch their development focus for the PS4 and i HOPE that it is PS4 exclusive. That would make up for them doing this very messy job of releasing key games on Nintendo platforms. The story is too tangled up to become multiplatform with the Xbox at this stage though. I hope its PS4 exclusive so they put as much focus as all previous PS releases.

I personaly own both consols so it wont matter too much to me but id love to have it as a Ps3 exclusive

@baglepants Word of God says that because Sora and Riku are effectively self-taught, they learned a lot of 'bad habits' with using the Keyblade that they need to un-learn, so they're effectively Reset Button'd inside the World of Sleep in order for them to learn the correct 'techniques' or something. If they can rescue the heart buried in this world (Ven, I think they even explicitly stated) they'll have learned enough, since that's what's required to be able to do that. SO they pass

@AyakoTheKid People really don't get that the KH team and Nomura are both working on Versus XIII right now, do they? Be happy we are even getting KH games right now, plus this game's story leads straight into KH3's plot according to Nomura.
So it's just as important as BbS or the numbered titles.

It seems like Square Enix is avoiding releasing their KH series on the "big" consoles, on purpose... Perhaps cause the new consoles are so complicated, whereas the comapny wants to keep the graphics simple and colorful... I don't know. This would be a nice game to see on another console tho...

Kingdom Hearts ruins Final Fantasy.. imo. because they put way to much disney in it and hardly any final fantasy. riku looks like he's gay. sora looks weird. make kingdom hearts 3 and not all these stupid side stories...the guy who made kh doesnt wanna make it bc he's working on better games like ff13-2 and ff 13 versus. so he probably has like no time for any kh game =)

@FinalFantasyLuvr2244 Nomura is busy with other games, and has stated how much he would LIKE to work on Kh3, and how much Disney and Square Enix think it's time for KH3. But he and the main KH team are busy with Versus XIII.
These aren't side games, nothing in KH is a spin off. It all has relevance to the plot, and helps to paint the bigger picture. This game is said to lead straight into KH3 plot-wise, so it's not a "side story" nor was BbS.

@MizuMikomi I agree with you on the BbS sleep not being a side story, but I can say that 358/2 and Coded were really side stories. they gave some good back stories, but other then that they didn't add much to the story.

@MizuMikomi Yeah and that is what sucks so much about it. WHY would you release something that is integral to the plot in so many platforms? To fully comprehend the KH story i would have to own a PS2, DS, PSP and 3DS along with the GBA for those that didn't wait for the remake on the PS2 and bought it for that platform. That is very unprofessional and sloppy work. I'm glad CoM was so important that they remade it for the PS2, they should do that with BBS and this game.

@MizuMikomi yeah bbs explained about the mark of mastery and how sora riku and Kari were able to wield the keyblades. it also told us about some of the members of organizations 13's backgrounds and how castle oblivion came to be. It was a very sad game like crisis core

Here's my suggestion to Square, nix the Final Fantasy cameos, kill off the Disney characters, keep the storyline, and there you have it. A game that is actually memorable. But it's a bit late for that. Everything that you fan-tards are getting are just afterthoughts. Even the sequel was an afterthought, and fuck, even the GAME BOY game was just a rehash of the original story with different gameplay. I have played all KH the games, and quite frankly, I'm sick of em.

@princesssk8tr i don't think thats the whole point, it may just be me, but when riku showed up in the trailer he looked sort of like ansem, so this game may also include something about the darkness in riku's heart( because in kh com ansem said he would remain a part of riku and someday return), then again this is just a theory.

@finalkamehameha1 The last thing I was trying to do was take away from how amazing the first one was, but I found the music in the second to be a step up from the first and it was also much more dark and mysterious which made it more inspiring to me. It's true that the second was far too easy and the first one was obviously incredibly unique but they expanded the storyline in a tremendous way in the second. It was also much more mature.

I like them all, but I have to say either BBS or 358/2, because BBS (in a way) gives the background of Organization 13 and in 358/2 you are part of Organization 13, but I love all of them. Recoded is prety bad, but it is interesting to me. I think that they should make KH into a TV show because you can do so many different things with it. I wish that BBS could be for other platforms because I don't have a PSP, so I can't play it.

Best side game was Birth By Sleep. It was a main game and was FUCKING AMAZING. I liked it much better than 2. But Still the first one is my alltime favorite. Infact I'm getting a new ps2 and NEW KH1 copy so I can play it. But also I might get a 3ds. KH1 was amazing. I hope they make aHD collection with Final Mixes in ENGLISH! Remastered for PS3 even if it didn't have final mix I will get a copy and NEVER open it. They should make it for PS3 and that's that. I would hate to see it on Wii or 360.
