  • Cool video, wish it was longer, but it probably sucked in the rain.

  • I live on the western basin of lake Erie close to port clinton. It is truly amazing to see these fish coming back in the lake. I'm only 20 years old so I hope to see these fish make a steady comeback in my lifetime so hopefully I can catch and release one of these creatures

  • that would be awesome to see!

  • Yes, they are magnificent fish. Wisconsin DNR is doing a great job of managing lake sturgeon. They share eggs with other states and the Fish & Wildlife Service. FWS raises them at 4 national fish hatcheries to restore them to the Tennessee River (my home river), and a truckload of 2,500 is coming this week. thanks for your interest.

  • awesome video! Thee sturgeon are making quite a comeback over here in the western basin of Lake Erie

  • Those are some whoppers....Whoa!!!

  • Yes, the largest ones I've seen are over 7 feet long and weigh over 200 pounds. Wisconsin DNR has done an admirable job managing these amazing fish.
