Scott posted on the BigfootForums, as did I And I have no doubt he & Darryl saw something completely out of the ordinary. So much so, that Darryl actually started to cry why filming. Many people have had similar experiences with 'weird' feelings coming over them while having a sighting. . . If you watch the vid, you will see 2 eyes peering back, & it is CREEPY!!! They saw something human looking, but NOT human that day.
I'm not sure why it would seem like a big stretch a upright walking gorilla. If you believe or even consider evolution of our ancestors 2 million years ago they began to walk upright. Evolution has two paths, you can have brains or brute strength. I truely believe in the possibility of another evolutionary path of a creature that walks upright. Human beings and the other walking upright, we chose brains it chose strength.
i gotta agree with anderson that dose look extremly like a rock but this isint the first time the usa has gone bananas over something we cant prove, i dont know if anyone rembers int he '70 when we went crazy over a face that was actully an optical illuison
but on a lighter note if this is real at least earth bigfoot can visit his relatives on the moon. right? right?
Herriott is right about one thing: there is so much BS in the "bigfoot world" that it crowds out the more grounded voices. I have no clue if it's real or not, but when you consider that people have been documenting such creatures since the early 1700s, it makes you think twice. The military record of Robert Rogers (of Rogers Rangers, the earliest "Ranger" squad), includes several accounts of ape-like creatures in Vermont. That's long before "In Search of..." or the paranormal 70s craze. Creepy!
Scott Herriott is HILARIOUS. His Internet Tonight show he did on the precursor to G4TV was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen on television. He really should be getting more work.
Why do people smirk when speaking about these creatures? Thousands upon thousands of sightings all over the world yet mainstream media still wants to smirk and make jokes. Just once I would love to see a reporter do a UFO/Sasquatch segment and take it serious. Funny that people can believe in invisible men in the sky or a red guy with pitchfork in the ground but just cant accept that an unknown primate may exist in North America and other places. The mountain gorilla was a myth until early 1900!
"The mountain gorilla was a myth until early 1900!"
Yet one was shot, bagged and tagged by a man who wasn't even looking for them. They were a myth only until we actually explored the area they are in. Meanwhile, here in the 21st century, they are apparently living in our own backyard, yet no one can find one here, or in any other country where the supposedly exist.
People smirk about these creatures for the same reason they smirk about unicorns and leprechauns.
I saw someone make this point about bigfoot on another video (I paraphrase of course): I could make it from Florida to Alaska without anyone seeing me. It would take a long time and it wouldn't be a direct route but it's doable." Best argument that I've seen yet.

disinformation might be a tactic used to keep sasquatch a mystery to protect him/her.
