Maybe Niel is a tad over the top, but you cant try to steal the show when you ARE the show. Personally I like his style, you can tell he still loves to play those songs after all these years, which by the way, he wrote the music to. As a guitarist myself, I went to see the band mostly to watch Neil play, one of my favorite players with a unique style, very original. My bass player thought he was a bit obnoxious but what do you expect?,hes a bass player! Choreographed? Anything but IMHO.
I think that people just don't understand that the band does the same show in every town they visit and that their moves are choreographed. I am sure that people enjoy interacting with mand members and that Pat is bored of it and her husband takes the burden gladly for her...They are both great...
She is awesome. Her husband, the guitarist, is obnoxious. I saw them in 05 and he would not stop trying to steal the show from beginning to end. He is awesome on the guitar, but everyone was sick of him by the end of the show. She absolutely rocked!
I doubt he was "trying to steal the show". He is her songwriter, producer, guitarist, keyboardist, & more. He deserves-at LEAST-SOME recognition for his contribution to her success, and he doesn't get very much...just my opinion.
I was there. Why would you question me if you were not? He upstaged her constantly; he was bouncing around in front of her; shaking hands with the audience while she was singing; and otherwise doing everything possible to draw attention to himself. It was laughable and distracting at the same time.
well when I watch this video I notice how many times he points to his wife and how many times he interacts with indeviduals in the crowd. Not one bit obnoxiouse. Maybe the night you saw them he was playing a playfull game with his wife , something between the two of them , keeping it interesting for them. Seems retarded that anyone would get upset at a star shaking hands with his fans even during the songs , you poor thing , you musthave been devistated to come here and sob like a girl .....
I bought "Precious Time" in Japan 25 years ago. I was a university student. I have never seen Pat in real, but very glad to know that she is still there.
iconic is a great word to describe this DIVA! she still rocks after all these years. what about you can hear the audience singing along! love it! AWESOME! she wrote this about neil, her husband. CLASSIC BENATAR!

Giraldo is easily one of the most underrated rock guitarists. Yeah, I know lots of dudes fall into that category, but he well and truly rocks.

She did an amazing job adjusting that high note in the middle. Range isn't quite there anymore, but it still packs a wallop.
She's simply amazing. That's all there is to it.

I used to roadie for a rock band when I was in high school and they played this song. What a great song to play live. Love that solo. Pat is iconic.
