  • You are so fucking stupid. If he didnt have a job then he wouldnt have all these things. He probably has a great job, and ure just jelous. You get a life and gtfo the page u loser.

  • @Puffles15 he has a couple of jobs actually... army reserves, being a youtube partner, & working as a networing engineer.

  • just push

     buttons

    and life

    is problem free?

  • you have allot of macs!

i have one and i love it

  • thats great and all but why not explain how to get it working for the 75% of the rest of us that it doesnt work for without some kind of magical settings changes

  • That's really great.

Check out this guys issue: iciconnect

    Tell me what you think.

I'm new but you seem to know allot about Apple products. Thanks!

  • SoliderKnowsBest, you live in MIssouri??????????

  • you can do a similar thing with iphone as well

  • does it work when the other macs are turned off?????

    well nice feature and video

  • where did u get your wallpaper from?

  • i wouldnt want that some one could hack my account and fuck up my computer

  • NCAppDesign(.)com

  • Do you have to be on a wireless network/connection to do this?

  • Does anyone know what software he uses for these vids???? Looks awesome!!

  • I think it's screenflow.

  • Screenflow.. mac only google it

  • is it on tiger?

  • this is pretty cool, might give it a go

  • MobileMe ?

Thats the most buggy and unreliable software on Mac OS X.

  • excuse me I use mobile me evryday without issue.

  • @wiserams

dont forget to pickup your paycheck on Apple Ave.

  • I love doing this to my mom she freaked

  • LogMeIn is much better and free.

  • Nice video and wallpaper.

  • I knew you were an officer

  • cool nice feature never knew that!

  • use logmein! its way better

  • Looks quite pointless to me cuz you always need your computer to be on

  • Looks very handy but won't it be a bit risky to do in unsecured public wi fi areas?

  • no it wont lol

  • Those are awesome wallpapers... you know many people are gonna want them Soldier so please tell us where to download them!

  • logmein is also good and its free for mac and pc

  • meh, wouldn't use it.... nice integration though....

  • sweeet!

  • Elementary my dear Watson :P

  • thats is grate tip ! Thanks you soldier !

  • Thats cool

  • This work for pc?

  • Control your "Mac" Anywhere in the World

  • no is for mac only o.O

  • There is a program called logmein that is like this but idk if it works for mac.

  • yea its good

  • Cool, thanks for all the Tips Soldier! I am new to the Mac, and watching you vids makes it easier for the transition from the pc to the mac.

  • anyone know where he gets all his ass kicking backgrounds?

  • He's got a video on it, and it's mainly Google.

  • very convienent if for example you take your macbook somewhere and remember you forgot to sync a file to it from your imac.

this will be a monster if iphone tethering ever comes along.

  • awesome! apple rocks!

  • Can you boot up your mac thru this back to my mac?

  • No you can only use the mac if it is power on, though you don't need to be logged in

  • been around for many years but good explination of it...

  • i use it when i'm at school on my macbook to connect to my imac so i can get on the internet without pages being blocked

  • @OfficialDjBigB Nice idea...

  • ur work? lol i thought ur work is making video on youtube.

  • Do you have to log into it on a mac?

Or say I want to control my mac with my lenovo laptop. Can I do that?

  • does this require all the computers to be left on?

  • @markml27 rofl. why would u want to look at the screen of a computer that is off

  • The title is control you mac, not look at the screen. This means that if I was at uni and wanted to look at something on my mac at home, I would have to leave it on for possibly weeks at a time in case I wanted to use this application. To me this is kind of pointless, for the time it takes to boot up the mac if I am any significant distance away I would turn the Mac off, making the application useless. Also hardly a green solution from apple there.

  • who turns off their mac? ever?

  • Nice video.

  • Are both of those machines on the same lan during the video?

  • yes.

  • Logmein.con is like almost the same thing except you don't need a mac or mobile or anything it's just any computer to any other computer

  • :O I'm using that same wallpaper on your iMac

  • SAME!!!

  • where do u get it?

  • Thats awesome !!

  • Where did you get the wallpaper at the beginning of the video?

  • looks like a cool feature

  • I love this feature. Only problem is you have to remember to keep the computer you want to log on to on, and I always forget...

  • wer eu get tht cool wallpaper

  • Teamviewer dose the same thing. by the way can any body tell me what dose the exploit.shellcode gen-1 do. i know that it is a virus but i don tknow what is it doing on my timecapsule arnt visuses suposed to by on computers? someone please help

  • maybe its a worm.. i have little to no experiance with macs but since time capsule is a harddrive.. it posssibly may be worm that eats out ur information that u can hvae on there..

  • Viruses/Worms and stuff like that are unlikely on Macs but becoming more likely :(

  • Nah, code C is extremely difficult to write in and especially trying to crack Mac coding! And if someone does write something for it, Apple is very very good at releasing software fixes asap!

  • But the iMac have to be turned on? Who's gonna turn the computer on for you?

  • were did u get your wallpaper from?? at the beginning of this video?? Thanks!!

  • Hey Soldier Do I Need To Configure Anything Else to use the BAck to my mac, I mean like modem configuration or anything like that????

  • he said as long as you have an internet connection.

  • Nice, too bad you need a mobileme account.

  • @AppleiStuff

you can use logmein to remote control your mac...works great and its free...

  • I agree, i use logmein more than back to my mac, the mobileme account has been a waste for me, the back to my mac feature barely works, only when it wants to. logmein all the way!!

  • TeamViewer is about the same

  • I think MobleMe is mostly a wast of money. But the one really cool useful feature of Back To My Mac, is what you can do is someone jacks one of your Macs. Just open up Photo Booth, and start taking their picture. Delete all your confidential info. Then start tracking the IP where your Mac is being used, until you find the MFers.

  • Man you look TIRED!

  • please play a game on 27" iMac

do u have flicking monitor too ?

i hear is a common problem for new iMacs

  • can u drag and drop from one Mac to the other??

  • @goneover Yeah

  • watson ;)

    .. I allways wonderd

  • Does the Mac you are wanting to control need to be switched on and logged in before you can gain access to it from another computer?

  • I think electrical current is an assumed prerequisite for electronic connections.

  • So is not all that useful if you were away from main mac for a few days. These things go to sleep etc...

  • On to me = booted up, asleep or not.

However you can schedule your mac to boot up and shut down everyday for a specified time period. Check your Energysaver preference panel and goto the 'Schedule' button bottom left there. Then if you need to change the shutdown schedule you can do so while you're logged into your mac. An hour a day should give you enough of a window to log in.

For multiple days away from it a schedule might be beneficial energywise.

  • No, it does not have to be on. But you have to switch on a few things like Wake for network access

  • thats a really nice feature, specially because i've seen a man on a trip carrying around his 24 inches imac from bar to bar to pick up wifi and work lol

  • @its0Nah Are you serious? OMG someone is a little obsessed!! Did you tell him a MacBook would be easier? lol

  • haha i should have. Tha man would go with not even a box, just his imac, keyboard and mouse, plug it in and use it lol

  • That is just CRAZY!!! LOL...I'd be worried about someone mugging me and snatching up my iMac....HA!

  • Some guy brought his 24" iMac to a training day. Carried it on the London tube network like a laptop. Possible, but crazy

  • Does that mean you have to leave your Mac at home powered on all the time if you want to control it remotely? That's doesn't sound like a good idea

  • @Chiflado21 There's no harm with leaving your Mac powered on while you are away. My iMac that I'm on right now has been on for 45 days....still runs just as fast and works just as good as if I just turned it on.

  • I would argue that constitutes a huge waste of energy, which is bad both for one's money and the climate.

  • @Chiflado21

IMAC's use mobile components which are energy efficient to begin with...I leave my PC on 24/7...and my electric bill hardly went up at all...

  • Oh Lord...you're one of the environmentalist fags... Read Billybob's comment...

  • Good software, what would be good is if say you have a mac at home but you are away and working on a PC, it would be nice to use a PC to connect to your mac.

  • That would be some software I would like to see very soon.

  • mobile me...bah

  • you don't have to have mobile me to do that

i use it all the time to transfer files or to share the screen all u need is to know the other mac's password

  • @toberichmoe how are you able to screen share if you are away from home? That's why you need mobile me and the "back to my Mac" feature...

  • what if your imac 24 isn't on???

  • you are fucked :)

  • Screen saver is Dope!! Where did you get it??

  • hey can u send me a link or message saying where u got that desktop background? that came up at 1:28

the one with the crooked apple with purple and blue colors

  • Does it work when your computer is off

    ???

  • what if the mac is turned off?

  • Do you even "review" Windows products?

  • yes he has some i fink like the zune hd, windows 7

  • where can i get that desktop picture?

  • He's done windows 7, Zune HD, Xbox 360 videos, but he does mostly mac.

  • does your 24" mac have to be on tho??

  • 27''

  • nice i like the your videos.!

  • cool video good thing i am a subscriber

  • i use it to control my mac at school when i left it

  • Mr. GOST to the rescue

(inside JOKE Mark u may not remember bc u were Hammered Drunk.)

Hey Mark i know u already had MobileMe But u dont need itif its your Mac Wich i know it is just go in the System Prefs. then sharing then screen sharing

ALSO u need to make an iChat for ur youtubers bc i know u have one for personal but i and everyone else hates Waiting lol

  • lol we use that in school

  • just get mac server

  • anyone got a link to that wallpaper ?

  • or get a server.

  • Why not just use Logmein FREE? I can access my Mac, Windows desktop, Macbook, windows laptop everything. FOR FREE. Stop paying for something when free is so much better ;)

  • ha i saw my name in the ustream chat

  • BG pl0xx!

  • I have a question: If your website was made in iWeb, I want to know how you can host your own domain?

  • he can't... he hosts his domain on another site

  • fuck mobile me!!

  • Does it still work if you shut the other computer down?

  • You could also use Mesh created by Microsoft, it works on pc's, mac's, and cell phones with Windows Mobile, and it does the same thing as Back to my Mac

  • Cool background on, link please?

  • what do u use to record the computer screen?

  • He uses screen flow. Its about $100 though.

  • i got it for freeeeeeee

  • I did too XD

  • screenflow but if you look around on google you can find it for free

  • i want the backround....plz

  • i cannot get any audio on this video..anyone have the same problem?

  • Cool video! Um, can you access your mac using your iTouch, iPhone and does it have a connection fast enough to allow you to stream Netflix and Hulu on your computer through you iPhone? If you want to do this, I got LogMeIn, it's a 20 dollare app, but it doesn't stream Netflix and Hulu on your iPhone/

  • Soldier are have you already sold your 24 inch imac or are you keeping it?

  • Nice video, although I can only use back to my mac on the computer that has the ports forwarded (unless I'm in my own network). All the other macs on my network can't be directly accessed.
