  • don't trust doctors with lasik

  • I had lasik in July 2010 at Key Whitman in Dallas, Texas. Ever since I've had the procedure I have night time starbursting and halos. I found out after surgery that my pupils are 8.6mm at night and the optical zone used was 6.5mm. Its been 7 months since then and still have them. Now I wear a custom made scleral lens in both eyes to reduce the starbursting. Its not perfect but its better than before. My advice is to stay the hell away from lasik.

  • notice that the hacks doctor/surgeon has glasses on. Hmm. I wonder why? lol

Don't trust these assholes with your eyes. I made that horrible choice and now have to live with the bullshit side effects.

  • @EliteDefenseInc same here!

  • Hey James...I am about to have surgery next week using the Wavelight as well. Are you still happy with yours? Should I go through with it?

  • all the doctors the ware glasses hahahahah. they are on the first place that they don't trasst the laser treatment

  • Tengo miopia y ni loco dejaria que me hicieran esto en los ojos.

  • I had wavefront IntraLASIK 2 yrs. ago and ended up with decentered ablations, undercorrection, lots of pain, and large degrees of high-order aberrations. I know for certain that my surgeon began ablating tissue with the VISX laser immediately after creating the flap. Both the Intralase and excimer were right next to each other and he just swiveled my head from one to the other without waiting, as in your case, for bubbles to dissipate. I wonder if this could have contributed to my poor result.
