McCain portrays himself as a "Maverick" and a man for the people but he is not doing anything for us when his tax cut go to the companies the ship jobs overseas and pay us too low wages. We already know trickle down economics is false-Alan Greenspan said so. McCain should have put America first but he put it last when he chose an incompetant governor to run as VP. Even with lower taxes, the benefits of off shoring jobs are more comprehensive in China and other countries because their labor force is so immense. And because the United States is no longer a manufacturing powerhouse, those who have lost their jobs (in the factories) need to adopt to the market. Hence, we need to go back to school and become more service-oriented. From what I remember, this is what economics calls structural unemployment.
