@Dreckswaran No, she came fourth. But since then the top three have fallen into obscurity. Only Faryl and Escala, the other contestants to finish outside the top three, have gone on to have successful careers. Although Faryl has to fit hers in with school requirements.

My guess, and it is only a guess, is that she will release one early in the new year. But then again I could be completely wrong.

It isn't too low. She is a mezzo soprano, it is within her natural voice range. As for whether she should have sung this song. After this performance she won the viewers vote and thus went into the final. Although she didn't win the competiton, only Escala and Faryl have very successful professional careers. Where are the top three placed now? I'll tell you. Obscurity.

I have heard a couple of tracks from her second album. They are certainly a step up from her first. She can only sing what her voice will allow her to at any stage in her development. The two tracks I've heard are Karl Jenkins' "Adiemus" and "Somewhere Far Away". Masquerade Choir and Crouch End Festival Chorus along with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra are there. She also sings a special duet of "O Hol;y Night" and a song set to Vivaldi's "Winter", called "Wonderland". UK release date is 30NOV

Freemantle Media had all of Faryl's TV show performances withdrawn after she refused to sign a contract with Simon, on the grounds that leaving them there was breaching their copyright. All other perfomer's vids were allowed to remain on YT. I have tried a number of times to upload those vids again and they are always blocked and the reason given as breach of Freemantle's copyright. As they are one of Simon's companies you can draw your own conclusions as to why they block only Faryl's vids.

Faryl will be in the USA at the end of April to promote her album which will be released there on 5th May. She will perform at media showcases in NY and LA. She will also appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. For those who haven't followed her career. She has a $3.4m contract with UCJ. Her album went Gold in its first week in the UK. It was the fastest selling classical debut album ever. She is much better than in this vid. She really is special.
