James was the first of "balanced backs" He wasn't really the fastest of toughest player, however he had the ability to get the needed yards or run pass the defender. That's why I liked him so much.
edge wuz bad in college to. some players u see em in college and can pretty much tell they go be bad azzes in the pro ranks to. love the killaarmy backdrop to. its fitting for ole 32.
@themonkboy123 AP has the speed but EDGE had the patience and vision. He doesn't need to get a big 50 yd run to get over 100 yds in a game. He knew how to move the chains. Great 3rd down back.
@themonkboy123 the edge blew out his knees early on in his career (3rd year i think), so he lost his top speed that he had his first 2 years, but as u see in the vid, he made his career with 10 yard runs, and you dont need speed for that.
this nigga sucks lmaoo , he has no jukes not even a stop & go , he just runs lol & this niggah did a studder step in 1:O5 lol i dont knoe why but its just funny to me oh man
I played with E at "The U" I was his left tackle on the O-Line (#77) Robert Hall and the first day this dude stepped on campus he was the real fucking deal! EJ is wut we know him as, before he was the Edge. We had some good backs at the time like my roommate Dyral McMillen, but E had speed, power, size and a great pair of hands. We had a nice team at the time with big names like Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss, Ed Reed, Najeh Davenport, Nick Lucci, Bubba Franks, Andre Johnson (freshman), Dan Morga
@DuafeClothingCompany that's amazing.... LT will probably for ever be my favorite back, (diehard charger fan)... but Edge made me love the colts. i forever my second favorite, i think he runs with a walter payton like tenacity. The how a power back "should" run, yet he had speed, explosiveness and moves, especially before the knee injury.
@DuafeClothingCompany Been a Colts fan since we go Dickerson in 1987. Edge was the best Colts back ever. Better than Faulk (when he was with the Colts), and Dickerson. A class act too.
i'll never understand why people say peyton didn't have talent around him - he played with marshall, edge, marvin for his whole career, stokely, reggie, dallas, addai had those sick two years
how in the fuck did you get this old footage!!! its a shame edge got injured, he slowed down after it, but he was still good. but no where as near like this
