my friend got gta 4 about year ago from a friend, then he played it using my xbox....the disc got serevely stracted like two days ago, so we went to gamestop to buy a used copy of the same game....but the used copy has that Play dvd error.. weird cause all my other games (halo reach, kinect sports and adventures) all work

@BulldogBD1 u cannot play online once u have used boot disc as that information of breaking code gets stored in ur console n u have to JTAG ur xbox to remove that info ... i wont advise boot disc for the ppl who wants to play online.. U WILL GET BANNED...

It's World Snooker Championship REAL 2011 (UK game released yesterday) downloaded from a torrent site (ido+dvd) that won't play. When I put the game in it said an update is required, so I let it update to the new dashboard. I had my 360 flashed about 2 years ago and usually put in the wave 4 boot disk before the actualy copy of the game which made it work. So it seems just these brand new 2.5 games that don't work, so I've been looking fir hours for a new boot disk.

If its Brotherhood or Hot Pursuit den its not gona work as these ar AP 2.5 games... and m sure rest of the games wil work widout any problem... if u download games from xbox360isodotcom den u wil see in the description of the game whethr its a AP 2.5 game or no.. all othr games (excpt AP 2.5) wil work with this boot disc if u have ixtreme 1.6. . . n tel me the game u havin problm with. .

@TheHm3 with which game you are trying..??? and u must not wait for a long when that "boot disc" screen appear and also donot press any other key just eject ur boot disc without any delay with the eject button on ur console and insrt ur game ... donot delay in taking out boot disc and inserting ur new game.. u hav to be quick...

@skyratty Ya you have to mod your xbox, but no big trouble just open your xbox up make sure what kind of DVD drive it is, then get a SATA cable get a youtube tutorial and follow everything and u can make ur stuff perfect!! YAA! imma try it this weekend!
