  • As humans we should be eternally grateful to be able to share this planet with such magnificent animals!

  • They are truly magnificent beings.

  • Impressive!

Beautiful horses, such a shame they amputate their tails. They really suffer from flies. It's been illegal in the uk since 1949.

  • Incredible!!! Just beautiful :D

  • If you've ever wondered WHY some of your downtown streets are so very wide, it's to accomodate the 180 degree turn of some of these teams from the early 1900's and earlier. Especially the teams delivering local products from surrounding farms. It is a tricky manuever.

  • Which is why we us3 horses like that!

  • This is not an easy manuever for an eight up hitch...they do it beautifully!!

  • I remember seeing the Clydesdales from commercials I first saw in the 60's. I hadn't a clue they were so well trained. I figured they were just for the ads or parades. I saw them at a fair once but they were in the barn. I never knew they performed.. I am impressed.

  • Well it's no surprise that they are capable of hauling that much weight, each individual horse weights over 1 ton. They are well know for their power. I wouldn't be surprised if one Clydesdale could pull that 8000 ibs wagon by itself. It is impressive to being able to control such big heavy powerful being. Then again they are also known for their sweet nature.

  • Magnificent
