No wonder companies find it difficult to innovate, when presented with advice like this. Innovation is an emergent process, or order out if chaos if you wish. While it is very tangible to promote this process and relate to its outcome, the process is indeed random and intangible.

I think as soon as we define innovation as a 'process' we have a problem given what 'process' tends to mean for most organisations .....
