thanks a lot for youre advice . background was strucured but maybe not anogh. i will try to let it dry a litle . i realy love youre way of working it gives a lot of freedom . keep the spirit free and emotion flow naturaly as it should be.
hi wonderfull carla, thank you so much for sharing youre knowlege and youre great ideas. i love youre work, these vids are so insparing . i tried to do the black wash trick . paint and wash right away but it was all washed off. no nice black trce like in youre paintings. shold i let it dry alitle? thanks again.
@sarahnava333 I'm not sure why you washed it al off. First of all the background should have structures, you know what I mean? It may help if you let it dry a little, because may be your paint is more liquid as mine? Or you can use a wet sponge instead of the direct water at the canvas. You have to do some experiments by yourself I think :-)
Wow, Carla! Thanks so much for doing this painting so we could all see how you work your magic! It was very sweet of you to do it because I asked about it. The textures and colors are wonderful...I just might use them for the texture piece I did in a recent video. Next time, I will do a shape instead of an all over texture. Yours turned out so beautiful. I agree that this shape can be many different things..very voluptuous! Your circle piece is a wonderful mandala. Thank you so very much!
I've had to use a translate tool for the word "voluptuous" (in Dutch "wellustig"), and I like it very much that a shape so very simple as this one could stimulate different person's imagination that much :) Thank you Donna!
This is a natural shape for me, a 'mother earth' shape. I didn't want to represent something specific, it's ment to be abstract. I think it could be different things for different people.

beautiful lady Carla..
it reminds me of an old africian ceramic i had years ago..
it was used by the sharmans as a fertility cup... thus shaped in a mans testies..
for all us men over 35 we can see it more of a work of realism rather then abstract..
none the less it truly is a beauty....BRAVO!

Yes, I've seen that fertility cups too, but may be already 20 years ago, I wasn't thinking of that. I was thinking nothing, the painting just grows..
Really? For all you man over 35?? :-))

Thanks for watching Angela.
And how bigger your imagination, the more your creative powers will grow. And that's great, isn't it? :)

Thanks Gary :)
I like it that you like it, but it surpises me a little bit because the color palette as well as the shape is very very sober :)

Carla - the texture and the way you draw it out is amazing. I think It's beautiful and womanly

Thanks! For me it is not specific a female shape, it could be a male shape too. How do you say that in Englis, an uni sex shape??

It looks like a pair of balls no offense just pointing it out.
