  • [jajajajajaja 00:34 "In Your Wolrd" "Muse"]

  • Wrong

  • castlevania came first

  • にいさん!もっとれんしゅうひつようあるね!w

  • (you need more practice)

  • yeah!

    hey men !

    you need more practice!!!

    oh,yeah?

  • you perform a better version and upload it to youtube to "show him how it's done".

  • @Heartbre4k3r How is my performance related to the fact that he needs more practice? How does it change anything?

  • unless you can outperform him; you have no reason to be 100% critical. perhaps in the future you could try being encouraging instead. after all, he didn't put up the video saying he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

"good effort, keep up the hard work," would've gotten your point across, and been encouraging. (being positive for the sake of someone else iz hard.)

  • I respectfully disagree. Actually, I find your intepretation negative. :-) I know the song and I know he made quite a few mistakes. I am free to encourage him to practice some more just like you are free to praising him just for the sake of praising someone.

There's nothing negative or positive about saying that someone needs more practice. It's the truth and it's much more helpful than just being complacent.

  • i think your brain is wired wrong =\

now tell me... is what i just said supposed to be positive because i happen to be giving an honest opinion? i think i'm being rude by saying so; never the less...

  • -not sure how you can justify my interpretation being negative.

-you didn't "encourage him to practice"; i ...honestly... think you'd benefit from looking up "encourage" in the dictionary.

-not sure if you'll understand this part: i wouldn't have praised to praise. i'd have praised because i can't do as much as he can. the concept truly is different, but i've got this gut feeling you won't understand the concept as i've typed it. =(

-in the grand scheme of things, you were complacent

  • So you see, it's all a matter of perception. I perceive honesty as being positive, especially if said in a way which is respectful. Notice that I did not say that he sucked or anything remotely close to that.

I encourage you to ponder on your conclusion that one has to necessarily be better than someone else to have the right to provide criticism.

  • i am wondering if you simply feel positive because you're being honest; as such, you are the positive, not the honesty.

example: you can't tell someone "you need to lose weight" and claim to be giving a positive message. you think you're helping, and you may have a positive feeling, but in the end it's not about you. the person whom you're giving the criticism is the one that matters; his/her perception

no, you didn't say he sucked, but neither did you encourage (which was my original qualm)

  • i wouldn't say that that i concluded: one has to be better than someone else ... criticism. (it's definitely a good rule of thumb, but certainly not a conclusion.) what i did say was: don't be 100% critical.

recall, i provided an example which i felt was encouragement & critique all in one. "good effort, keep up the hard work." i think the artist would have received the comment well, and not been put off by it. that's what would make it positive. ;)

  • Finally, I'd like to add that being positive is also respecting other people's opinion as opposed to trying to censor/silence/mute people who express themselves differently than you do.

Good day to you, good sir.

  • one need not be respectful to the opinion of another who was not respectful in the first place. =\

also i think you're making drama out of nothing. i didn't try to silence/mute; i was trying to help change the way you present yourself. ...again, i gave you a suggestion on how to speak, and somehow you equated that with mute. =\

i must say, i do love your current candor though. if we saw eye to eye on anything, i'd probably consider you preferred-company.

    good evening to you!

  • Ah no, there's no drama. There's really nothing dramatic about the whole thing (far from it). Actually, there's seldom anything dramatic about anything on youtube as far as comments are concerned. Usually pointless hatred and misplaced contempt.

I'll leave it at that, arguing with character limit is annoying.

Well I think if you lost comments such as ''your brain is wired wrong'' or ''it's too hard for you to understand'' (which are condescending), I would return the same compliment to you.

  • Excellent !

  • ["In Your World" "Muse" 00:34]

  • AMAZING!

  • nice dude

  • what a r-tard

  • castlevania is better than zelda

  • While I agree with this, Zelda 2 was pretty good.

  • I'm really, really hoping you're joking.

  • Even internet people are entitled to have differing opinions.

  • I'm not denying your opinion. I was just hoping, so I could have more faith in humanity. :(

  • It was the first time I played a game with a save function so it kinda left a lasting impression. That, and the downward thrust is a timeless game mechanic.

  • Faith in humanity? Aren't you going just a *bit* overboard? It's the opinion of 1 person out of 6800000000, surely that doesn't represent *humanity*.

Anyway, it's just a matter of tastes. Just accept that he likes different things than you and he'll do the same.

  • Way to respond to respond to several posts from up to a year ago. Do you feel the need to respond to everything everyone says on Youtube?

  • @Tobunshi Just the really stupid ones.

    XD (joke, take it easy)

  • @foottothenuts

    agreed ;)

  • @foottothenuts Better music definetely !

  • @foottothenuts

I have to disagree with that. The Zelda games are as good as CV IMO.

  • @foottothenuts BLASPHEMER!

  • @Shiek200 no you are.

  • @foottothenuts wow......... nice comeback.... I like how original that was... Zelda owns anyways........

  • @Shiek200 I dislike Zelda's soundtrack especially. I never understood why people love it so much. It's generic heroic adventure music.

  • @foottothenuts Listen to the orchestral compositions. The way each and every instrument compliment one another, without any conflicting sounds is brilliant. Also, you have to include the ocarina songs, which when placed into a medley are beautiful. The composer knew what the hell he was doing.

  • @Shiek200 Of course the instruments in the orchestral compositions are not going to conflict with eachother. What kind of professional composer would allow conflicting instruments in an arrangement? There's orchestral versions of Castlevania songs too.

Castlevania songs just have WAAAAAAAAAY more personality than the songs in almost every video game series ever.

  • @foottothenuts You can not make something out of nothing. For there to be an amazing orchestral version of something, there has to be something worthwhile there to begin with. That said, I can certainly see, and respect your opinion on the matter. Castlevania songs do indeed have more personality than ALMOST every other video game. There are those that are better, or at least equal, and I happen tom place Zelda in that group.

  • @Shiek200 You're wrong bro.

  • @foottothenuts sorry you feel that way. You don't know what you're missing.

  • @Shiek200 I played the Zelda games brah. The gameplay isn't great either. They're overrated like all Nintendo games.

  • @foottothenuts I repeat, you don't KNOW what you're missing.... if you KNEW, you'd realize you were wrong.... simple as that....... Obviously you just can't see what makes it better..... don't confuse ignorance, with opinion.

  • @Shiek200 Right. So now it's a fact that Zelda is better than Castlevania. Lolz forever.

  • nice ^^
