I lost my Dad in Sept 2011 from injuries in a car accident, the past few months has been so hard I miss him so much and just as the song says I find myself picking up the phone to call him and tell him something, so this song makes me long more for Heaven. Guy Penrod is an awesome singer love listening to him.

When my group and I were working on our first cd, I was learning and practicing this song. I had to go into my office and turn the sound track way up loud and sing it over and over again and again before I could sing without just breaking down and crying. Even then in the studio some of the tears came through on the final recording: just knowing HE'LL be there will make it easy to go home.

I love this song. My beautiful sister, Connie passed away four years ago this coming Christmas. This song describes her perfectly. I miss her more than I can ever convey. I only saw her a couple of times a year and one of those times was at Christmas. She was thrilled when the holidays came and she could be with family. We talked by phone almost everyday. My life hasn't been the same since she went home . I can't wait to see her smile again.
